Hah, Poland..
Aren't Russian and Georgia at a ceasefire for now, that to negotiation from the French President (or Prime Minister?). And the US have urged Russia not to start fighting again. Would be insteresting to see what happens if they did start up again. Although obviously it wouldn't be the best result.

Tbh USA wouldnt get invovled would most likely start with EU getting invovled sending in peace keepers, very unlikely any major powers would actaully take some major military action, over fears of WW3. At most I recon russia might be sanctioned that would probably be it.

I'm sure I've seen in the news that the US are going to be sanctioning Russia for this war and I'm also sure that US would get involved. Seeing as the biggest oil line in the world goes through Georga, as for WW3. Why do people fear Russia, I'm more worried about Iran. Seeing as we don't know there capabiltys and never will.
So what your saying, is that US won't go against Russia.

Im glad the youth of today regards the term 'respect' as bollocks, puts my mind at ease for the future (....)
Anyway, I don't really see Russia giving a **** about USA issuing a sanction, just like the Iranians they know America wouldn't win a war if it came to that. Plus, the Georgians started it.

Exactly. Which is a reason as to why they wouldn't dare attack Russia. Don't underestimate the Russians they are quickly becoming a world superpower again. There is no way in hell that USA would start a war with Russia, they know that they probably wont win.
Yep we would blindly follow the US into another inane fight like a child following Gary Glitter into a sweet shop.
