Mir2 exe download is the same what the patcher downloaded i overwrite it and same error *after i click [CHRONICLE] Button - Connecting then Disconnected from Server

i had the exact same problem and even though it might sound strange.. i kept overwriting the file and the problem remained so i deleted the mir2.exe and unzipped the new one and the problem went away.

i also thought it was a regional ban or something but as i read this comment i wanted to try it out and it worked immediately.. i mean, don't run the autopatcher or don't replace the exe. delete it and redownload it. work like charm, i got like 25 times disconnected, did this and worked immediately after

Just a thought anyone having this problem not running an English OS or language package? this could be the problem when the client is trying to read the masked server address incorrectly?

i can also be some dns propagation errors.. most seem to post the ip to some different than what i am getting for instance.

I am going to contact the host regarding this issue also to clarify it is not a regional ban...

I dont know if the Client itself has Domain Names inside wich cause the Problem possible there is a problem - for others... Like connection to the Database... perhaps we need a client with the true IPs compiled... i dont know. i am not a programmer nor a Network Specialist...

All i know on my end it worked friday and now not (i think eachone knows slowly)... And the client is the same like all other have... *2885 KB - 2.2.2014 created @ 13:01 o´clock - so i have this - changing Servers.ini with the above Information (Ip´s) Not Working same error.

i tryed it with the "OLD" Mir2.exe too from Friday same error. Doesnt matter what i do it doesnt let me/us or whoever inside for wtf reason.

mate, since the dns is hard coded try this for a check

open command prompt with administration rights

type

ipconfig /flushdns

then try to start the exe, make sure servers.ini has game.mirchronicles.com in it

Sorry mStation, did not saw your post, tried out this as I remember we have in development for AceM2 some problems regarding the regional settings.

If people still have connection problems, some reported they get blocked at Char Select try this:
