TOS - Whats allowed and whats not

Hi all,

As requested a little bit of a "Terms of Service" page.

Most of it will be common sense, however is very worth informing you all to be fair.

We on apocalypse would like to uphold a friendly enjoyable atmosphere and with that in mind need to make sure we try and follow the listed rules/regs below.

General:

1. No racism at any point. Any racism could result in termination of your character.
2. Spamming the forums may result in a request to block posting to the LOMCN staff, any issues you have ingame that you feel are urgent please either message us on here (inbox) or contact us on discord/****. Please do not spam the forums. You are more than welcome to post an issue, but not repeated.

Account:

1. Account sharing is something that we do not have an opinion on. If you choose to do so, we will not get involved if anything happens to your character.
2. We will never ask for your password, so never give to anyone!
3. Please make sure your password is different from your id.

Ingame:

1. Exploits are not allowed and will not be tolerated, this includes afk levelling and exploiting any bug found. If this is found this could result in termination of the character.
2. Macros are a grey area, we are happy for people to use macros to skill levelling, but are not allowed to script pot usage, we have auto pot for that.
3. Harassment of players in game could lead to warnings followed by more serious punishment if reported and ignored.

Sales:

1. We will not get involved in players who attempt to sell or buy accounts/GG/items. You do so at your own risk and we strongly advise against this.

GameShop:

1. We are always happy to refund players of GG for real money if the GG is still on their account. We will also do this for any item that has not been labled clearly (like the horses we have already refunded for before we added descriptions of each) This is at your choice whether you wish to have a paypal refund or a GG refund to use on something different.
2. If players attempt or successfully claim back any fund paid which they have used and have not reason to claim back. the said character will be terminated as this has then had an unfair advantage.

There may be more to add as we consider new things, but for now, please follow these rules and any questions on them please do not hesitate to contact us via Inbox or on discord.

Rule number 4 , so if someone is selling items gold etc Ingame , are you ignoring that ? If I stand in town selling gold for irl money will you continue to not get involved ?

You refused to refund my gg when I baught the wrong pot? Was meant to get promo got normal told nothing could be done, hope now I can be refunded the other 3 pots I should of had.

No, like i said, we accept we cant manage all of this, so instead of making a rule (other than rubbing our faces in it) we will just avoid dealing with things if they go wrong for players, which they often do when dealing with "trusting people" ingame.

Maybe a good idea to set weekly reboots (if any for future updates and assuming the DDoS/crashes are fixed) fixed @2hour/3hours planned as previous mentioned by another user.
This will also save yourself from PMs regarding disappointments from players for 'not keeping promises' regarding a 'quick reboot'.
If you guys finish early with the reboot you can use this time to dig through emails regarding refunds considering wrong GG items bought etc.

Also might be wise to make another subforum called 'Downloads & How to get started' and move all the stickies from blackscreen etc to there to create some room @ top of main forum section.

Just my 2c.

This is the plan, we always knew week one we would reboot lots, because we are not ignorant enough to pretend we dont know things need changing, so we always said it was important to accept week one we would make lots of changes to balance early. This is what we are trying to constantly do. We havnt got it right everytime. However im VERY confident tonight will change 90% of issues with character balance (the 10% should just be teething things which can be done easily).

Done with the server as of today.. Iv'e played servers in the past with corrupt GM's who get involved with recovering accounts of certain people etc. Found out today that you were directly involved in recovering someone else's account after it was bought. So you have completely gone against your own rules?

I bought an account from somebody for £££, they then robbed it back 1 month later and for the past week i have been trying tp get it back. i have given full proof of purchase and they can cannot argue it.

once i logged back on, had a few people message me about items he robbed from them aswell lol. not my problem. i lost stuff on the account when it was taken.

We wont get involved with account sharing etc, we will however help someone who has spent IRL money to purchase something and then been robbed for it, its scumbag play. You can moan all you like about Corruptness etc, people will only laugh at you trying to justify you robbing someone and getting stopped. This will not be discussed.
