Hey guys,

Just to clear up are the little boxs upon traffic lights there to catch red light jumpers or are they sensors?

yeah sensors. if there traffic they'll stay green for longer. soon as a car comes it'll get ready to turn red. don't think any have cctv.

edit. just looked up, and the red light cameras are the sensors under the lights, not on top.

When you're at roadworks and its red with nothing around, flash the lights with your headlights.
If setup correctly, they should change in your favour shortly after.

Whilst we're on the topic of traffic lights and sensors.

When at traffic lights, some have their sensors (Magnetic) in the road, you will see 2 diagonal lines on the floor, parallel to each other.

Don't stop in front of them or you will be sat there all night waiting for lights to change! Make sure your car is always over them.

Drives me mad when people don't realise this.

Watch out for these "Sensors", theres 2 in my area which are also used as Live Feed CCTV.
Been caught speeding & running through a red light from the same camera ><
