They can't win really. You raise a good point Foxburr, but in saying that, what happens when/if people find out about them basically lying to them about the date? they will suffer consequences (as is evident with this thread, people will find any excuse to talk **** about a company no matter how good a job they are doing). All it comes down to is an issue of trust. People don't trust QGO cause of all the rumours flying around about their identities and because such rumours are linked to Game Network, as such people are skeptical.
Will the same thing happen to Mir3? No-one knows, we can only hope that it doesn't. Personally I trust QGO to deliver a great game and great service, I don't really think that it can get much worse than the situation that Mir2 is in at the moment.

People here dont trust QGO for alot of reason's They have lied on multiply ocasions already and thats not just about the open beta date

They must have quite a bit of money to rent two offices, pay for the contract of Mir3 and imploy staff who cba to spell properly (If they are disleksic (sp? =/ that was a very bad spelling of it) then i am sorry). But read thier posts on TF.
Thier use of "txt language" is amazing. For a comapny about to start earning money from you, i would want them speaking proper english.
Of course, i dont know if QGO will do a good job. Nobody knows apart from QGO themself's.
I also love it how people who use (well most of them) TF everyday back QGO up.
I still fail to see how they have lied about the open beta date. Fact is, they themselves said they would be pushing it to get it to open beta in such short time and that the dates they had suggested were unlikely to be met so people shouldn't have got their hopes up. I also fail to see how it is a lie when things happen that are out of their control. That's not a lie, stuff like that happens and when it does you gotta deal with it as best you can. If, for example (and lets hope that it doesn't happen), you were on your way to visit someone and you'd promised you'd meet them but on the way there you got hit by a car. Would you find it acceptable for them to start running their mouth about you and calling you a liar for not meeting them in the end? Personally, I'm eagerly anticipating the release of Mir 3, but I'm not going to winge about delays and set backs like certain people have done. Nah i know open beta dates where tentitive (sp?) However they have lied One example would be the 300mb text file for a quest Would love to see a text file 30mb large let alone 300mb
Then theres the post on real mir forums claiming QGO had access to a forgetton mod/gm forum account and that they translated the patches past 1.5 Yet GN already said who did and it was bb and alaira and a couple of others
Now unless there admitting alaira is part of the QGO team In which case i dont have much hope in QGO
They havent showed themsleves to be a decent company Even GN was able to do that in the beginning

They'll probably be better than game network, but at least gamenetwork spent the money to buy an installer, hope this doesn't mean QGO will spend less on their servers than game network did too. I get the feeling QGO is a group of amateurs, maybe ex mir 2 players or something who thought they could do a better job at running mir.

there "offices" all around europe are actually there houses. the "company2 was setup only for mir3 out of the "countless" other games theyve worked ont here is no evidence of any other game and they refuse to name one.
the site refers to nothing but mir3, there forums are done by a third party company cause at the time they couldnt handle it.
even the name "quality games online" seems to have been chosen just to give the mir2 players a bit more confidence they thing oo QUALITY they must be good"
Dont be blinded by a new company, dont hate them either just be wary.

Good thing about it is they have released a full version of the game and not the very first version that came out in korea over a year ago
I was expecting the client to be the very same client that came out when mir3 was in beta in korea but to my surprise its the latest one available for download there..
