I double checked the Yimoogi subs I was mistaken they CANNOT drop Charms. only Yimoogi. Originally they could but were removed when PB items were removed from trash mobs there.

You say that MTK/BL/BDD but most of them drop better than the subs (KS, IWT and KH do not).

So MTK/BL/BDD/OK can drop 45/47 items too? Or just HA,40/43 weps?

Just because they have the ability to drop HA,40/43 weps, and at a higher chance than these subs. look at what is actually dropping these items. Most boss kills result in just a bene/str oil 99% of the time, not even a "pb item"/gem to help recover pot costs etc

The bosses that have this possibility to drop well spawn every 1.5-2hours, You have to give up levelling to encounter these.

These yims subs spawn 3+ every hour, are killed as a bonus while levelling, and have a drop file with, according to your other post, a drop rate around 2-3x less than a boss like GFS. (1/160 compared to 1/338 or whatever it was on D staffs) . I imagine these bosses have a lesser rate than GFS for these items. Meaning you dont have to stop levelling and can kill enough subs to make up for the lesser drop rate, Factor in the chance of really good drops from the levelling mobs in yims then why should you bother with the other bosses?

We are killing them, and have had some drops.

Obviously you are not reading anything being posted. The problem is, out of all the places in the game and things to do, the only thing to do is go to yims, even though there is other harder content available, its not worth doing.

Turn it around, lets say he introduced Yims before RedCave, Everyone is camping that place (as currently is), he then releases new harder content such as redcave, why would you move to that new cave when the current one is 10x better?

If he released Yims first, with the current redcave drops, then released RedCave with the current yims drops, that would seem logical progression based on level and difficulty.

Difficulty goes PB-YIMS-RC. yet drops/levelling go PB-RC-YIMS, not very logical.

Best droppers shouldn't be In best exp caves and there shouldn't be 10 subs....... it's a simple fact

Normal elite guardian = 45 items 40 weapons a lot more often ( think i saw 3-4 dstaffs the other day) can kill 100s of these an hour No normal Mob can drop Lv40 Weapons,

Elite Thunder guardian (sub) 2 per 30 mins? 1 each floor 1st and 2nd? ( guessing this)They are not every 30 minutes.

Yea, You'll be wanting the charms on next patch I can assure you on that.

FFS Trash mobs cannot drop Level 40 weapons...

sorry that was in reference to the subs, subs drop weapons and items, norms drop items, few million xp whilst killing through.

I'm done now, I had 0 intention to be "that guy" just wanted to get my point across, if I haven't already I won't ever.

Building a guild only advice I will get is "hunt yims" every other cave is redundant ATM

Look mate, are you thick? They say they do, so they do. Don't care what you've put in drop files, they don't drop that.
Whilst i mark your comment highly for humour, and lacing of sarcasm, it was Jamie misunderstanding on that one. I read it the same way as him at first, but realised what the dude was saying when i re-read.

To clarify, he meant in total, with subs + 100 mobs in that cave its, 45 items, 40+ weaps etc etc... not just the mobs.

Does this mean you're making QoL changes to current areas?
Or just adding in new areas? :eek:

All Charms (New and Old) will get 1 randomly added stat. The stat will modify spells. Example would be Increased Damage with FlameField or Decreased Damage taken by FlameField, reduced Mana Cost on FlameField etc. etc.

This is a huge nerf to what is already the weakest class.

It's getting to the point where you have to stack wizzys to get anywhere on this server :(

a short story -

A tao finds a sub and starts fighting it, a Sin/warrior/wizz comes along and decides he's going to take it

It's to help us in grps, I've been in boss kills where I've had to stop greening a boss so I dont get the kill as I dont run rediculous drop rates

That is not how it works, I'm a lvl 44 tao, I can vouch that currently it does not work that way. Green poison has a damn good chance to keep a tag, but if u hit a mob every 5 seconds and started that before the poison you will keep the tag. Hell I've seen Varaka get the tag in a group with me before when I pulled with green, this merely helps us not have a server where taos are forced to run max drop rate or not use green poison in grps.

any chance you will be adding an orb/craft item so we can reroll the mod on charms?

Would make a good gold sink for a crafted item. Not sure how you are implementing it but be good if you could alter the skill or the modifier (ie inc dmg or decreased dmg). Then you could reroll either the skill only, the modifier, or both depending on the craft item. (something like dragon scales+blue die+cash would be a good craft set for material)

You can pay 200k to get a different random Mod.

Just catching up on posts, funny read with all the QQ.

You have no idea how many thousands of mobs / subs CORE have killed in yims for the handful of dropped items The drop rate is dam low but this is a good thing imo. Players are saying you get exp + drop but this is not the case, if you want drops then hit 1f and 2f yims.

While the bigger guilds are in Yims and RC, this gives other players chances on all other bosses on the server. For example look @ BOSU / RISSEN till about a few days ago they where guildless and would duo loads of bosses and currently have accumulated so much wealth in and out of the game. These bosses dropped legendary items yesterday. ZT, IZT, GFB, Khazard x2 from what i can remember.

There are 4 floors in Yims, more than enough for everyone if that's where you want to hunt. Time your hunts so you don't clash with the bigger guild and stop dieing and ressing which gives up your location. doh

This Charm from mobs only in RC is a great idea, now you will need to think what you want more.

More players in Yim/ RC = easy exp in bdd? think about it.
