Thats true, but these files will be the base for any files to come.

They run on a brand new engine and it shows when you go ingame.
All im saying is they can only get better from here. Not releasing them would stunt the growth of mir which the LOMCN team is struggling so hard to keep afloat.

There is a repeating problem with any Mir project that is coded from scratch, which is, it never gets completed... History has taught as that the previous files (a couple of C# projects, C++ projects, Unity, VB.net) have all failed due to the amount of work that has to go into them.

If I thought that one of the C# projects was worth getting involved with I would have put myself forward a long time ago because Java is my native language and the syntax is largely similar.

As for these files and there being a new set to replace them, what generally happens is the team working on them is not good/quick enough to get stuff in faster than a competing Chinese set of files, so once the Chinese files are released we port over to their latest and greatest. However, with the current team we are a mile a head of any other team working on files at the moment and this is reflected by the interest in these files from some of the China teams.

Sorry to reopen an old thread.

Regarding the Gem cap, and not sure if anyone has mentioned before.
But just wondered why captainkirk has items above the gem cap levels? he has a +13 stated item with 3 slots full dura. and some of that stats are +4

As mentioned it was gemmed prior to the cap, nothing has been done unfortunately about items that clearly give those who played before the cap an unfair advantage.

With regards Item Gem stats being capped this is something this is required to stop everyone becoming overpowered and we will be looking at capping previous Items that are now over +3 on added Stat. I'll try post more thoughts on everything later but I just want to confirm we won't be wiping the server. We'd rather make the effort to balance what's there now than wipe everyone's hard work. We'll be continuing to balance things that we feel are unbalanced and introducing new Content for everyone, not just the top 5%

Just after i read this i would of though the latest stats on his items would of be removed down to the cap to stop from being "overpowered" and balance it out so its fair for everyone, It cant be one rule for one and another for everyone else, regardless of when the item was created.

As his items are still full dura a month after this post its clear hes not going to lose it though dura, specially with hard torches in game.

This isnt vendetta against this person(i dont even know him), hes just an example as its the only items ive seen over the cap so far, so this should apply to ANYONE with items with stats over the caps.
