LOMCN HQ with Tai, eating bagels.
Delay on Suns is pointless on any server imho.

Just make it so people have to sacrifice something in order to use them - up the weight - lower the stacks etc.

If you want a load of suns for a boss/fight - then make it so they can't carry a PK Weap and HP/MP - so that getting to the boss or sustaining the fight is much harder - people who play Mir tend to be lazy enough, that they'll stop using Sun Pots instead of running back and forth to caves.

Or whatever, I don't really mind.

Put it this way, if you thought of it, so has virtually everyone else on this forums. I have no need to lie.

Oh and thanks for reminding me why I had you ignored.

I've decided to go ahead with my SunPotion change however I can adjust this on the fly if it's effects are unintended.

Additional Information, Whilst the stat "Max Life Per Second" is Ineffective (Set to 1,000). Any Life per Second "blocked" by this cap will be added to the NEXT tick. (If you were to heal for 300 HP, and can only heal for 200, the next heal would have +100 more).

Really liking the sound of this update, and interested in your SunPot changes. However, I think more should be done in terms of instant potions. Perhaps even something along the lines of an "In PvP" "Out PvP" mode, where you don't come out of PvP mode until you're not hit for 5 or 10 seconds. This way you could experiment with SunPot / Gin cooldowns in PvP, but have them smashable in PvE (or if you are able to jump out of combat, heal up and get back in - careful making Sins too OP as if they aren't already though with this). That way, it will still be well worth for people to buy inventory expansions.

Also really looking forward to the new cave, be interesting to have XP on hit in Mir. However, I really, REALLY hope this new cave isn't a private server cave like the level 1-20 cave which you can only teleport to with the NPC. That really just feels so ****ing tacky. Please man, make an entrance to it like RedCave or Yims you know, hell even use an existing entrance in the game for it or replace a disused map with it or something.

Private servery telecaves just make me really cringe, not sure why. Guess it reminds me of them crappy Chinese Mirs where you just tele to the KR instantly.

I agree with this. A lot of your updates lack imagination, creativity and story telling. Never been a fan of "Leveling cave 1 - Leveling cave 2" types of servers. Would prefer a little bit of story to it, something to make it interesting beyond just clicking on pixels to make the numbers go up.

Again playing devils advocate, but how are Taos going to get exp from these mobs when their job is to support.

If you could make it so they receive 20% of the exp from red psn'd mobs (so basically they get the exp for bonus damage they cause) it would be fine I suppose?

Or even deeper, they get the exp for the bonus damage they cause from UE also. It will be simple maths equations.

Will encourage Taos to be proactive and improve their skills in other caves.

Haha Jamie you are quite pathetic, when someone offers you help for a mistake you made you should be greatful. It was friendly feedback but it hurt your ego didnt it?!? Haha, you are a smart lad but everyone makes mistakes. Owning up to them is what makes a man of you. Clearly not in this case,

If "virtually everyone on the forum" thought of it then not only did you get feedback from someone as sharp as me but you got shown up by the retarded folk who play your server.

Ill happily resume my ignored state, try not to cry yourself to sleep having been taught a lesson or two by the great Razarus.
Happy exploit free cave people, you are welcome.

P.s hi Silencer, be careful what you point out bud, if the supreme dev hasnt thought about it he will start being a **** towards you.

amazing changes, just a thought. wouldnt this change make tao green psn defunct? i know you said it will now do double dmg to mobs but stopping regen is damage in itself.

in high lvl caves stopping 5-6 ticks of regen + the psn dmg can add up considerably that may not be noticed in the dmg ticks.

im just wondering if this is enough to compensate or is it a straight up nerf to green

He's reverted that change in an edited post further down below.

The only monster regen is Bosses and when they are out of combat.

Yeah, I meant changed not reverted. My bad :cower:

Am I right in understanding people will have an easier time killing bosses without a tao, but with a tao will still be the quickest and safest method?

Unsure how this effects their levelling. I guess in reality it doesn't, their kill speed hasn't changed at all. Everyone elses has, in theory, increased.

thats what im wondering. i mean, say if it takes 30 seconds to solo a mob in yims as a tao, green would have stopped 7.5% max health as regen. with mobs having 0 regen will doubling the damage of green compensate for this "loss"?

Seems people have swallowed the trolls bait.

No bait from me I was genuinely disappointed by Jamies reaction to me spotting an exploitable mechanic that he coded intentional that he had not foreseen.
To then lie through his teeth even though he left the evidence with a strike-through that he had not anticipated nor understood the severity of the potential exploit.

Once his mind had caught up with mine, (I understand the delay) he states the fix with no thanks. it's just rude, to someone trying... actually no, someone who DID help you fix something you built broken is discourteous.

I'm sorry that I hurt his ego. I'm not sorry for helping him fix a severe issue before it could be exploited even though I got no Thanks.

No trolling here, just the hero of the day being treated like crap by a dev who makes mistakes.
