A DVD reader mind you uses more power for both spinning up and any other state than a HDD. Thats going from the reader for computers however, but i'd assume it couldn't be much different for the standalone readers for cars. You should buy DVD reader head unit and then burn all your songs instead of putting HD.
4.7 GB per DVD = 4700 mins of music = 78 hours and 20 mins of music. And you can burn any amount of DVDs you want.
Isn't that what you fill your day with usually? Not correcting mine, but others spelling mistakes? Yes yours was a spelling mistake, not a typo. I was actually just messing around and noticed the mistake by accident, however the way you went crazy about it is funny at the least. Maybe there is a reason behind this ''pussy patrol''?Atomicide said:How about you **** off, unless you want me to trundle around correcting every typo you make.
Like I, and everyone else thats smart has said is that there is a limited capacity, there will probably be no impact, but if he's running a sub, amp, neon light then there could be issues.
Also if you use "..." it implies a pause before you carry on, so ending a sentence with it and not continuing is quite moronic. What little respect I had for you as a person is now gone, seeing as your obviously in the "pussy patrol" that comb these forums looking for any miniscule reason they can use to get one over on me.
And i haven't shown disagreement anywhere. What i am telling you is that if the power usage was too much drain on the battery, the problems would already be noticed because the amount of power a small hard disk requires will have virtually made no difference.
May very well be so, and as English isn't my mother tongue i won't even argue. The little respect you had for me i'm afraid i can't give two ****s about. This is just a virtual forum with people that are virtual... for me at least
