i am going to buy a new pc insted of buying the windows xp cd agen can i use my old one i got ??????

Whitetiger, it depends on the type of windows xp cd you have.
If it is OEM, then Microsoft WILL NOT allow another computer to authenticated.
If it is a regular version then just call them and tell them the new one is the only one with XP on it.
Or... just get a copy of the corporate XP.

They never once asked me for my Serial number. Thought it was quiet strange, so i tried again a few days later, they didnt ask for it again, So i did it again a week or so after, and now have XP on all 3 of the PC's i built recently
