Can someone give me a quick digest on the effect of speed on RAM prices. I seem to find that low range RAM (say PC2100) is far more expensive than PC3200.
Common sense would tell me that, perhaps the former isn't being produced in the mainstream because of the faster and more efficient latter.

Also for a friend; he's willing to spend around $70 for a low-range graphics card that will get him through with starting and playing games such as CoD2 and BF2 (not Vietnam). Any suggestions would also be welcome - he's thinking of a low-end FX5200 at the moment.
Thanks!
