Hey I never said I went to curry's to get it, I said I went to look at it, so I could see if it was worth torrenting..

But since I found out I need a DVD/RW drive to burn it.. which I don't have..

Is there anyway I can split the file onto a few discs? or am I going to have to not have vista

You can get a good SATA DVD+-RW drive from aria.co.uk for £20 afaik.

Anyone know of any decent torrents for the 32bit Ultimate version, 64bit Ultimate or Home Premium. I began to download one torrent for the 64bit retail, and got 31.1% through the download and the rest of the iso isnt being seeded. Now i'm downloading at 0.2kb/s with 2.4GB to go...

Just took hesmondo's advice and installed Vista Transformation pack. It's rather nice looking, performance is okay; the sidebar seems to be a bit hectic but it could be my lame computer

32 bit = for computers with 32bit cpus
64 bit = " " " 64bit "

retail = with a nice shiny box and manual.
OEM = no manuel, just a CD and key in a plain box

Vista didnt give your friend a virus, and the transformation pack isnt vista, it makes XP look like vista - 100% virus free.
