Telnet?!? wtf? Show of hands who still uses telnet for anything apart from raw socket testing? (and even then i tend to make a custom app to do it cos then i can make it perform certain required actions)

Ok, i'll admit i use telnet to quickly find out if an IP is working correctly on a machine by connecting to irc, but thats about it.
