there seems to be deep division btw PvP and PvE players, especially the first one are only concerned with PvP and nothing else
I don't like PvP, period, I try to avoid it at almost any cost, my worries if going with sin is that some servers lacked caves suitable for sin, that is places where mobs don't swarm on you and where mobs are worth decent experience, like say PB Omas (given certain level)
with warrior, you get thrusting and can go to BC where you make lures and hide in single slots there and level the skill as well as get level for HM, then you can make lures and chop them down with your back against a wall, or go to mines and chop zombies in the same fashion
TDB means you need to find mobs that sin needs, PB Oma or something like that, say ZT mobs, and once you get CHM then the real pleasure kicks in, exp starts really rolling in and still later on, BStorm is just icing on the cake, every bang you are showered by exp points LOL
and then you got servers where LR works well if you choose good cave, on the other hand, I don't know about sin at higher levels, I did play one several times but never to too high level, still they do show up on high rank on many servers, so something good must be going for them too
about that mention of using DC gems, mostly never use them if speed and acc and slow etc gems are available since at half decent level, DC becomes relatively high number and gems always put on just 1 or sometimes 2 DC points and even adding DC at low end doesn't save the day for them, unless maybe on very low rate servers where DC points don't get too high or at low levels where your DC counts in single digits and every gem makes decent difference (but then at low levels you don't get any gems as a rule unless pass down from high levels)
really makes you think why no server figured a way to evade DC gems obsolescence for higher levels, one server I can't recall which one had second tier of gems and those put on 2-2 stats if they worked, or something like that
