I'm running Mir 3 on Linux with wine but there's something wrong with the transparencies. Everything that has transparecy is non-visible. I think some library is missing but I cant figure out which one.

I'm running Windows with wine. But I digress

DirectX?

Yes and no. It also uses some old and deprecated API. I read somewhere that it uses direct draw or something like that to handle the transparencies that's why it doesn't run smooth on newers systems.

I don't need the info anyway as I've deleted the game. I need to focus on other things.

most of 'official' mir 'blend' codes is still based on basic asm is it not?
i'm guessing some of the mmx (and what else) instructions arent supported by wine> hence why the code 'ingores' what it cant run
aka the blending code is just not being executed cause wine has no clue what to do with it
