It seems that every fight is impossible to win no matter what kit you have due to suns, i thought a cool down was supposed to come in.. am i wrong?

Thought the same thing. It got announced but never brought fully to live version... seems silly -
i'd say even a 0.7 second CD on sunnies (makes bosses do-able still)
and ginsengs either remove them as you did Sunpot(M) or put a 1-2 second CD on them..
You can literally ginseng past 2sins and me swinging at you as Varaka just did and Mel does alot..
its also not even hard to make a macro to just spam as fast as it can (you will run out fast) but if you need to survive a short burst then this is a very good option to survive (or just hold the button down)

Don't be daft, you cannot expect wizards to suffer from having a lower health pool than others.
They should be able to spam instant health to negate their only weakness.............

It was low priority, I want to add Sabuk and observer that before adjusting sun pots. (figured it would be the best way to see the impact.)

Will revisit when the top 4 wizards have enough hp to tank without sun pot spam - MarbleDevTeam.

so basically, you want a wizzard to be able to tank a warrior +3 sins at once without dying, standing in the same spot for 15 seconds? no mate that shouldnt be allowed, ive fought mel many times and all he did was stand still till melee is dead, sun pots with a cooldown will stop making pvp all about sun pots..

Without suns, no pvp, thats imo how marble is right now.

So basically, what I would like is for you to appreciate my sarcasm.

I'm confused, you're telling me that every fight is impossible to win... well someone is winning them and they have sun pots just like you do.

Putting a cool-down on them only affects PVE, by introducing a cool-down all you are doing is affecting 'him' and you in the exact same way. This will have the same end result. You losing the fight... just quicker and with less potential to teleport out. On the other hand it may remove PVP from the game for the vast majority of people, as you'd know your survival window is now smaller in PVP so TT early instead of thinking 'I'll give it a few of my best shots and if it doesn't feel good I'll TT'.

The flip side of this is that bossing the high end bosses will become impossible, a cooldown on Behe or Ghost DD or Yimm's (if you're unlucky enough to be focused) would result in them being killed less or potentially not at all in Behe or Ghost DD's cases.

Normal cave hunting such as Exp hunts to RC would become impossibly slow as luring more than a couple of rats would be game over for the average player.

This feels like a knee jerk reaction to an age old problem of 'I can't kill anyone'.

It seems that every fight is impossible to win no matter what kit you have due to suns, i thought a cool down was supposed to come in.. am i wrong?

This sums up my opinion accurately about the sun potion cooldown.

Lol.

The irony is killing me.

edit:

For ****S sake hocus, stop it, let it happen. Let them die quicker. It'll be better for them, it'll solve everything!

lol even without sun pots, a wiz will still 2 shot any player near them, I'm pretty sure without using a sun pot, the wiz will still win. Sun pots should recover a %age of hp. That will solve it.

I'm confused,

We expect nothing lese from you these days, don't worry about it.

The complaint with sunpots having no cooldown is that a health pool becomes irrelevant.

A warrior has for example 1000hp and can take 100 sun pots worth of damage + 1000hp
A wizard has for example 500hp and can take 100 sun pots worth of damage +500hp.

If a sun pot gives 80hp?
War = x100sun = 8000 + 1000hp = 9000 eHP,
Wiz = x100sun = 8000 + 500hp = 8500 eHP

In this calculation.
A war has 6% more eHP than a wiz….
A wiz is supposed to be fragile when it comes to taking damage

*I used estimated numbers, and the actual figures are of course different, however the eHP calculation with correct figures will still be shockingly unbalanced.

Yep! Wiz benefit a tonne more than any other class when using sun pots. Again, they need to recover 30% of max hp. Sorted.
