A core spell?
Like Xele said it make everything easy. And it was toned down everywhere except p servers. It was always rare except on high rates. On euro it dropped most during events. I got mine from an event with the island of v hard to kill omas or the cave with the omachiefs.
Seein as event were custom mir more like p server really. You cant call euro Official after the first few years. Then ff was very very rare.
It wasnt common on last official mir2(USA) was handed out in what looked like non official events.

That's the problem though... flame field aint in the drop files.. think they must have mis spelt it or something? should really check?? I mean how many poison clouds and barrage books have dropped even one rage book? and not one SINGLE FF?? every wiz should have FF its a core spell don't care what ppl say you need to be lvl 45 with good mc kit for it to be good anyway.. its not like a lvl 42 wiz gunna own ppl with it, if you have lvld to 45 you deserve to have a spell that packs a punch, make it drop more its key for guild hunts as well as numerous ppl have said about getting to KR's ppl just rt then run past the mobs avoiding mobs im sure Devs didn't want this to be the way we want ppl killing their way to KR and wizzys with FF help do this.

FF is in the drop files, it is the same rate as Rage and the other rare books
I also think it is strange that it has not dropped but I have looked at the drops for FF so many time, the spelling is right.

Anyway an idea about skills was floated to the player base and by the looks of the vote most players like the idea of a craft option.

wouldn't surprise me if both were on like 1 in 1 million drop rate or only in like 2 boss drop files in entire server lol, going from the messed up drop files since the launch of chronicles.

Yes yes yes! get the crafting skills ingame I hate the idea of rare skills so do most players tbh, if ppl think a spell is OP and too strong don't make it rare it should be adjusted we all want to use an array of skills available playing half the game without key fun skills is just boring let everyone have all the skills.

Wizards have always been **** for pvp until they get FF/blizz/meteor, they've always been mega-late game before they start to balance out in that respect. And they've always been pretty naff at single target damage. I suspect the same will happen here, and I very much suspect when the higher level books start popping up the moaning will subside as wizzies start wiping out multiple targets in PVP.

Wizards were always rubbish til they got really high and got very good kit that took ages to develop.
Complaining that no one could do same damage as xele cos no one else has good kit just shows that now the drops are changed and you can get +++ kit that makes it easy to one hit everything in sight then wizards are really Ok.
Its the drops gems and refining that made the difference.
back on euro wizards were stupid once they had FF and a redmoon sword or a +10 or more weap and + at least 3 on everything else. Everyone was fed up of them and if you could get one or cba to make one you played a wiz in the end

thnk u missed the point, xele wasnt doing good damage even with his silly mc.. with his mc he should have been 3 hitting lvl 40 taos with fc/vamp 4-5 hits with icestorm and so on (provided they were good hits ofc)

I love how much wizzys whine. Sins have the most right but we know what our class can do ultra late game. Its a real shame no sin will have decent levels dark body ect anytime soon...

I hardly see how OP SwiftFeet is, it's probly got an up time of about 3seconds, just not long enough to be useful, a lot like flash dash lol...

We have had 7 or 8 of these books drop, all being used by sins in our guild.

Swift feet is just mir boots. With a very large cooldown (200 secs depending on the level), great for running away but you can do the same thing as swift feet using auto run unless you get hit of course. You don't run any faster so if people decide to run away you won't catch them. Tip if you see a sin pop swift feet either just run in a circle or rt. It is waay harder to get away from a wiz with FF than it is to get away from a sin with swift feet. The swift feet/shadow step combo may be another story but I can't test that yet.

its as strong as it was in euro, just not as controlable as it was in euro.

My reasoning is that I don't remember wizards doing silly single target DPS on Euro or USA, or on Ace. It was when they got FF etc they were useful in fights. Happy to be corrected on this if you can demonstrate a few examples where wizzards have been renowned for doing high single-target DPS.

they did, on euro high mc wizzies hurt with every spell, they just hurt even more with ff, but trust me, i used to kill lvl 40+( but under 48) taos in 2-4 FC's and warriors in about 6-8 and so on, as i mentioned xel should have been doing on here but wasnt.

for a time i was running round in a luck+0 d sword and still doing good damage

in short a wiz with good mc even if they didnt have FF could still make ppl rt/tt, but on here its just not the case

Swift feet is far better than mir boots, please stop displaying a lack of knowledge. Swift Feet is one of the BEST skills in game, it is extremely strong/broken. Shadow Step is also one of the best skills going, having either of these on a Sin means no escape for anyone else, having both of these would be an absolute joke and also make it impossible for sins to die.

My FF on euro use to hit for 281 damage on the trainer, may have even been more than that but it was a long time ago.
