Really? I dont think so

Theres no fun in mir anymore, the end of the day you do 2 things, pvp and kill boss, both invole having players to kill or trade with, when youre on a server with 30 people tops it gets boring.

L2 private servers, Aion, Wow etc all have thousands on per server at any one time, Mirs a dead game. Why compete in a very small, limited pond when you can hop on over to a bigger pond with more people to group with / challenge?

If there is no fun in it, then what are you still doing here? simply because you still enjoy it probably, there is still fun in this game and always will be, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is still "fun" and thats hell of alot older but I'll still take it over alot of the new 3d sparkly looking ****e that's out today.

I like a server that takes a bit of time but not too much time to level up, with an awful lot of things to keep you occupied, I like mining and refining to be re-introduced so it gives you the old mir feel, I'd like rares to be rare.

Basically I'd love a EURO style server with a load of more features and things to do and the EXP upped a little and of course, more "end game" stuff

Thing is, the Mir community is pretty small these days, then it's split up into people who like only high rates, only low rates, only med rates or 2 of the 3. Mir is fun, but when the only server hitting a decent user count is FH and unless you're willing to put a lot of time/money into it you're not going to catch up with the top end of players and really get to enjoy the fun stuff.

Only thing that I can see every reviving Mir would be a p2p server run professionally with updated files, new mobs, new armour/weapon etc images, loads of new spells, but with the same basics of Mir. Unfortunately that will in all likelihood never happen.

I still visit because I used to enjoy this game and like to know whats going on. Not to mention lomcn is not just (But it is largely) mir specific.

I do realise that mir in some regards is better/more addictive than L2 etc, but the nature of an MMO is that theres meant to be more than 30 people competing, trading, fighting, hunting together etc.

If people still played mir, fine, but the usercounts arent ideal for alot of people. Because these servers cant be advertised you will bring no new players in. You can advertise em to the private server community via topstes etc, but all people see there is mir3 servers at the top of the list as you can be properly rewarded if you vote in mir3, so they will look past mir 2.. and just go to Aion/WoW instead.

Agree'd with this a P2P server would bring the community back as 1.
But i cant see any trusting a single team on here, Usa just damn right sucks.
and i dont think anyone on here cba to do such a thing with massive updates bug free everything balanced out etc.

But we will see.

not really, theres pros and cons to large, and small user counts

with a user count of like 100, like mir, u get to know everyone ingame, u fight similar ppl each day, you get to be known as a "top player" and stuff like that

on stuff like wow, aion, etc... cause theres 1000s of people, u never really have any1 to compete with, you'll never really know any1 more than your guild, you'll never be well known.

Mir you'll group with similar ppl all the time, eventually getting to know them, wow/aion will be diff random ppl all the time

Just like mir, wow, aion, they all get boring eventually..... i wouldnt say WOW is any better than mir, as ive been playin and interested in mir for about 7years, were as ive played WOW for a year, got the best items and levels, couldnt go any futher and quit.
