hmmm. are you such a idiot. many people here are not the brainey of people here. im one of them. i got C/D's for my GSCE's im more of a Hand's guy (not in a gay way) you need to give more respect.

and think about it. mcdonnalds is proberly a good way togo with it. without going to collage and gaining money at the same time.
your learning your math's through the till
your learning your english from serving other people and working as a team. these are the quality things people look for in job interview's

the only reason they r doing it is cos they employ so many foreign exchance students etc, round here every single mcdonalds has russians etc working there and i 1 for 1 can barely understand em...

I think this would actually be a really good GCSE.
You'd improve your English language and communication / social skills, your basic maths, possibly even cooking if it deals with that, employee > customer relations, etc. Stuff you can't usually learn without experiencing being in a real job.
Would be really interesting to see what comes from it imo.

lol. colonels going to goto mcdonalds school for geeks.

only ppl who work at mcdonalds and people dumb enough to fail gcse's. and like goatsex said, the only reason mcdonalds will be doing this is so they can teach their think and foreign employees some english.

if you didnt pass all your gcses you deserve to work in mcdonalds for the rest of your life.

i can just see colonel working there..

customer - "Hey, can i get a bigmac meal?"
colonel - "Sorry we've got no food left, iv just eat everything here coz im so fat, ull have to goto KFC"

HAHAHAHAHA

I went into a Macdonalds once and asked for a bigmac meal,
I was told that they had no burgers left,
I said what this is Macdonalds how can you have no burgers,
they said we have run out of them, is there anything else you would like sir,
I asked what else is there,
they said chicken,
I said if I wanted chicken I would of went to KFC and then i left.

i got all b's

Do you want some sort of prize for that? To be totally honest getting all B's isn't something you should be shouting from the rooftops.

You learn maths through the till?.... All that you learn from a till is how to add and subtract - things which anyone (even young children) can do. If you learn maths skills by having at a till then I'd wonder how you managed to get the job. I doubt that working at a till is going to help you with quadratic equations, or differentiation, and hence it wouldn't help at all in an actual maths exam.

I also doubt that you learn English from serving people. What you learn are 'people skills' which I suppose are important, but have very little to do with actual English. I very much doubt that while serving people you analyse pieces of poetry, or read Shakespeare, and hence once again I doubt that your 'English' skills are going to dramatically improve.

I'm not entirely sure what is meant by McDonald's 'doing degrees'. Does it mean that they're going to be sponsoring schools (etc), or are they going to train their staff up to degree level? I think it's a pretty ridiculous idea (if it is the training one), and I have no idea how they would do it.

I once went to Burger King and they had run out of burgers...

I had to get onion rings.

Next KFC will run out of chicken but saying that there is only two things on the KFC menu that has chicken in its name and thats the popcorn chicken and the chicken piece

Next time you are in KFC have a look at the whole menu and you will know what I mean

See Menu here only 2 things on the menu say they are chicken
