Why is everyone such a bad pker?

I make this post partly in jest.

We all die sometimes, its true. but there are some with a outrageous amount of deaths, and very little kills to show for it. People need to learn how to PK PK.

highest K/D ratio on server. after recently returning and seeing peoples kills and deaths and finding that i am still the highest KD ratio, and although no longer most kills, still high up there (7th) it makes me wonder what the rest of you have/had been doing... sort it out :tears_of_joy: :sentimental: :victorious:

I have to say I played Mir 2/3 for about 12 years, I was always shocking at PK no matter what class I played xD

Contrary to what many on this forum believe, most people who played Mir weren't/aren't into pking.
Not to be confused with SW wars etc., pking is regarded by many as horrible and an annoyance to normal gameplay of hunting monsters for exp and occasional drops. They don't like it, don't want it and therefore never gain skills in it.
A lot of it is down to the fact that people see a char as another player, show respect and decency to that player in game and it's alien to attack them without good reason.
PKers obviously see other players as legitimate targets and therefore don't afford other players with the same decency and respect of the non pking majority.

This isn't a criticism of either play style, just an observation of it and an answer to the OP question.

Last I checked you were a noob who hasn't played in months and only returned once the server had died. Those 700 kills were probably all recently killing noobs in BW during the no penalty lord war zones.

You're probably right.

When Euro was still going the private server community was fairly small and largely all pkers/pvpers.
Obviously Euro had it's pkers and pvpers still, but a large user base just enjoyed the hunting style.

Since Euro died and we've gained their players it's now largely split in the favour of casual players to Pkers.

i was one of the best kitted warriors when i quit. maybe 5 warriors had better (yourenemy, FFF ish, Zeus, realDanII.... maybe only 4). didn't see their kills and deaths anywhere near as good as mine, and i was killing them anyway. my kills came from legitimate pk, at bosses, subs, and guild hunts/guild pk. since i got back a few days ago I have not gotten more than 10 kills. so no they aren't recent.

i killed po0 twice. he used to TT after one hit. where the rest of my 700+ kills come from u think? and yes , you are right, killing you does count as killing noobs

K : D ratio on here means nothing really, whats stopping you logging a noob and kill them 1k times?

A kill should only count someone within ~10 level imo.

Low death counts are a better indicator for player skill/survival, but then again whats to say said player doesn't TT from fights xD.

Yea, that was a pretty obnoxious first post. Fapping over K/D ratio on mir is dumb. Why not put your effort into something like PUBG/CSGO, then report back your KDA.

Killing noobs in town for a whole day accumulating over 500 pks does not count lad..
