SSD! makes a HUGE! difference to computer performance for a relatively low cost. Once you go SSD you'll never go back. Also get two SSD's and run them in RAID 0.

as koriban said get a nvidia card and a decent ssd Id recommend the Intel series SSD very reliable and come with 5year warranty you pay abit more but they benchmark in top 3 for speeds and not even the samsung ssd's compare in reliability
This PC give u stable 65 fps in this mir files no mater many mobs/players u will have on screen. If u get lower than 60 fps problem its in software not in hardware. All to say.

i dont think an SSD is a great deal for an online game, SSD shouldnt affect the speed in which your computer talks to the internet.
Normal HDD are arround 50-70 mb/sec.
SSD can get 4-10 x faster than HDD.
Internet connection are difrent. I know some ppls got 1-5 mb and others 50-200 mb. SSD are discs for fast data like system disc or huge new games like Crysis 3. Operating on masive files. Rendering. Mir 3 no mater what disc u got
Hmm not once in my sentence did I say an SSD would speed up your internet connection lol.
Anybody who thinks that spending all this money on a new rig and not adding an SSD is a good idea, shouldn't be giving advice on this thread.

Your computer is as fast as the slowest item it uses.
The hard drive is usually one of the slowest as it has a disk turning and moving heads reading/writing data. The SSD has no moving parts so the access time is that much quicker. Therefore if your system had to wait for the hard drive, there's a good chance it will no longer have to.
With SSD prices dropping, using them is a no brainer.

ive noticed how much more expensive Intel is to AMD and Nvidia to Radeon.
I guess i have always had cheap and nasty so really want to make sure im getting enough bang for my buck so to say.
p.s this is not just for mir, there are alot of games i have just not bothered with because i knew i wouldnt be able to handle them,
Like BF4, Crysis 3. I even struggle to run DoTA2.... shameful.

as guys said earlier get windows 7 do not touch windows 8 with a bargepole thats 10 foot long what monitor you got lol and get yourself a 2nd hard disk only install the programs you are running on the 1st hard disk and use the rest for your downloads

Yeah you'll definitely need a secondary HDD there. Main SSD for Windows Installation and installed programs and secondary for mir and storage (not sure why a old 2D game takes up more than 6gb of data, but whatever).

Ill be using my current pc for downloads, storage, media centre, browsing ect.
The new one will be a dedicated games machine.
By putting games on a seperste HDD wont i be losing thr benefit of the SSD?
whats so bad with windows 8? All im going to be doing is booting pc up and clicking on the game to play?
Ill see if its changable on the one ive picked out. Might have to drop some ram if im getting a second ddr.
An SSD will only speed up reading and writing files. Installing games on your SSD will speed up load times but won't have much effect on how the game performs. In an ideal world then yeah, you'd want to install everything to your SSD but if you're going to be installing a fair few games it will fill up very quickly.
There are MANY problems with Windows 8, the most serious for me is WiFi issues; 3 out of the 4 WiFi adapters I own straight up don't work with Win8 and the 4th has speed issues. All 4 are less than a year old and all work fine on Win7. I've had graphics card issues too (HD Radeon 7970) which took ages to fix.
Just a note on SSD, when I was looking they still charged a premium for them in pre built pc's. If you are going pre built then buy the pc and the ssd separately.
