When i load my windows installation discs, it says it doesnt recognise my hard disk drives (probably cause my dad deleted the partition) im guessing that my hard drive is either broken or i need some drivers to install them.
if anyone can provide me with some software or drivers that i could put onto a disc and load the disc on my pc which would create a partition on my harddrive ready to install windows xp..
Bit more info -
this is the exact message i get when i load my windows xp disc to install.
----------------------------------------
Setup did not find any hard disc drives installed in your computer.
make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer, and that any disk related hardware configuration is correct. this may involve runnin a normal manufacturer-supplied diagnostic or setup program.
