Hit the nail on the head. I started a rogue at the weekend who's now level 16 (YAY ME!) and it's painfully obvious that timing is one of the most important things. Knowing when to use your skills to get the most out of them is crucial. It was quite difficult playing a class with next to no crowd control, if I accidentally pulled more than I intended I'd have a very tough fight on my hands. That and generally not being used to melee fighting made the whole experience very fun and rewardingipixel said:But, playing my mates lvl 44 rogue to see what its like, and it aint as easy ( pvp wise ) as many think, timing in pvp is crucial, but its uber fun to play, all those stuns get me hard tbh.
He might not get much love this week though as I'll (hopefully) be taking my first steps into MC with my mage. After soloing Attunement To The Core at 3am Saturday morning I'll be damned if I'm missing the raids now!
The expansion should be good. Loads of stuff being added and by the sounds of things that were said at Blizzcon there should be a lot of exciting stuff happening with the free patch updates in the coming months too. As an example Ahn'Qiraj (new raid instance in the south of Silithus) will require server-wide cooperation to open it up before anyone can go in. Personally I can't wait to start raiding that place, I've seen a caster staff that drops there... it's AMAZING! Should be coming in 1.9 patch which, hopefully, will be out before the end of the year
