No, you've completely misunderstood me.
I'm arguing cheaters, scripters, whatever you want to label them can use suns at 100% efficiency with the delay in place as it stands and it punishes your legitimate player more than it does an automated script user. The delay is more harmful than good to those playing fairly, but you simply cannot go back to how it was (no delay, unlimited sun bundles)
The only way you're going to stop the 100% efficiency of this script (that the team claim is bannable and yet nobody's been banned for it?) is what I'm suggesting. It's almost impossible to block because it's not something that actually effects the client.
Besides out right stopping AHK, which doesn't seem like an option, the only way you'll beat the cheaters at their own game is by removing the delay but limiting their sun pot resource along with everyone else. No script is going to help you in that scenario over someone who manually pots.
The irony in your current post is you've just explained why delay on sun pots is a terrible idea. The whole point of cheaters is to burst you down before you can burst them down. They're just looking to get the kill quickly and get the item. Your very own words.
How do they get said kill? Because the person on the other end can only sun pot every 1 ****ing second lol.
If we can fix this, then I would suggest either freely giving out the Shift+belt potting script, or actually implementing it into the client because as you agree it's just unneeded awkwardness nobody should have to deal with. Then finally everyone's on an even playing field and those using automated scripts gain no advantage.
My ban had nothing to do with scripting. They banned me because of the exp exploit that I and every Team member participated in. I had the opportunity to report it but was told not to, and chose by myself not to. A decision I obviously regret in hindsight 20/20. They decided to unban me because I didn't moan or bitch or cry, I just asked to be given fair punishment like everyone else. I was de-lvl'd on both characters as everyone else and lost Mod position. Fair punishment for fair **** up. It did however ruin my moral for playing Chronicles and as such spent time elsewhere improving Mir servers as best I can. Chronicles is still a server that could benefit from help, hence why I'm bothering to reply to you.
The 1 second delay is a bigger disadvantage to the cheaters as they can die in under a second now like everyone else. The main use for this script wasn't that 1 key sun use that would save you and provide time to get away, it was because the people using it could use the exact amount of suns required to tank 5/4x worth their hp pool in small amounts of time, where those not using it couldn't hit the buttons fast enough
So fights when 3-4 people converge on someone and wack out 1500+ damage in under a second, the script users could tank it because the script was far quicker at using the suns than a real person would be.
When it was tested ingame and BH was told, it was because 3 speed7 warriors couldn't kill a fairly basic geared sin until his suns ran out, no matter how many suns a real person could click, it wouldn't be quick enough to tank that damage, whereas the script is. So a script users health could go below 200 and be sunned back up above 500 efficiently (without pot wastage) 5+ times in under a second, and because of the speed and accuracy with which the script can apply the pots, there was nowt you could do. The change you want would do nothing to stop that sin being invincible for a short period, wheres as the delay does.
The main use for the script was in town fights or pvp. Mainly on sins and warriors who could tank 3-6 people, kill their 1 target hoping for an item drop and then be tt'd when the suns ran out before dieing themselves. Restock, rinse and repeat. Taking out the delay aswell as bundles will not stop them being invincible, it will only lower the time in which they have to kill their target before being tt/rt'd. With the delay in place at present, they aren't invincible, they simply require enough DPS to be done quickly.
In caves they can even add an extra line and give the script itself limits similar to what you want. Say for example, Sin can SS into a group, and tell the script to make him invincible until it uses 7-10 suns, then switch to use rt instead. That sin, even if jumped all over, effectively gets upto 5 seconds of invincibility in which to kill his target and before being rt'd to hp pot back up, wait for his cooldowns before going in again and again until his suns are gone, even with the limit at 30 suns, this could easily allow 6 attacks. Think of HarryH's agility kit or similar ontop of that. 30 suns could be enough to wipe out groups if the scripting was efficient, and they didn't get unlucky and hit by a 500 FS or summet.
With the delay in place, yes its not ideal that non cheaters are limited to 1 sun per second because they might have been able to pot legally, faster than that, but its currently the only suggestion that stops people being near invincible, even if its for smaller time periods.
...For the shift scripting. If that wasn't why you were banned originally, why aren't you banned is the question that still remains unanswered I believe? BH says its bannable. You have again admitted to using it on a forum account they know for certain relates to your characters because they had this involvement with you. So why no ban? Yes, for others they cant prove the script use, however you have happily admitted to it....
