Its just the fact that certain bugs dont make sense to exist when there are 3 beta's.

The BW quests bugs werent noticed on the first low lvl part of beta?
No1 noticed the way TDB works which is gamebreaking?

Why cant we see any proper info from the actual server from those closed beta testers? I dont know what you might have been discussing in private with your testers but i fail to see many (if any at all) regarding class balance (other than archers), drops, item stats, lvling speed/curve, cave exp/strength etc. Was everything that perfect? Because imo thats what are the beta's about. Not just bugs.

Why I suggested an open beta because you could just have certain groups of players keep things to themselves to have an an advantage over everyone else knowing where the good exp spots are or what drops where....

they spent some time on balancing, not everything done was recorded on forum idiot

Just because one specific skill is not working the way you've always known it to work, doesn't mean it's imbalanced or "game breaking" lol.

I was fighting as a Warrior/Sin/Hunter and Tao against all other classes, and it was all fairly well matched (Of course there are bits here and there), but largely it was down to skill.

For example, i was happily able to toe to toe a Warrior as a Sin and if anything was down to luck of who got the bigger hit.

But as always, I don't expect warrior players to pry themselves from their beloved TDB and how they think it should work...Got news for you, it's C# files now, it will work how they want it to work....live with it or don't play. But i can tell you first hand, with all the same kit and level, this is the closest to balance i've come across in a while. But i'm sure you'll still pick holes...

End of the day, there's a million factors that come into play when it's actually live...Kit, level, skill, stats....too many to ever fully balance to every player.

But in regards to the SAME levels, SAME kit, ALL skills....it was pretty damn balanced. We also had a ton of stuff reported in game to the GMs themselves or in TS....Not all is on the forum, believe me lol

People will always find something to moan about , like that guy said i said about a few quests that are not working and i did not even mention what quests they are but he did not even bother to go to bug section and look at what me or other people reported there . I actualy mentioned in the bug section the quests that i found were not working and it's not like there are 100 quests not working just 2-3 quests . O well , we will see when live comes out how many will play how many will stay how many will cry and how many will not be satisfied .

Guys this is MIR you will Never Ever get things working like you want them to work or make a perfect balance by 100% between classes , there will always come alot of factors that come into play and things will be a bit different then you expect them . 90% of the people that moan or are not satisfied dont even know how hard work it is , they think it's a walk in the park ...

Class balance this is only going off a few hours play of pvp but.

Wiz-Tao own due to ability to target and hit while people are running in c# files
Wars good if more than 1 of them vs a ranged otherwise they litrally get kited all day long and with 1 sdash every 8 secs your not gonna catch any decent player 1v1
Sins suck ass unless you can sneak up on someone who is unsuspecting

Thats definately good to hear but i wasnt obviously moaning about balance in a server i didnt try.
My point was that considering the number of ppl that actually were selected for beta there are quite a few posts/discussions regarding ingame issues. PVP was just one part of what i mentioned.

Did you lot find drops on spot? Nothing drops too much or too low?
Are the new custom items decent? Are they OP? Are they sh it?
Is leveling too fast? Is leveling too slow?
Is there a cave that gives too much/low exp compared to how hard/easy it is?

I havent seen many topics like that opened and yes there is a chance you lot discussed that with pm's or in TS but thats something i cant possibly know.

The things you're after are things that even us testers couldn't test. The drops I saw from the odd bosses spawned for the testers in CR seemed to at least be rewarding if thats what you're on about....But I don't have a clue whether these are the real rates or not. It's something you won't know till live, and quite frankly shouldn't know and shouldn't be determined by players. The exp and drop rates are the teams job, not ours...They will have it how they have it.

Of course if HookingCats were dropping Para Rings, then of course we have something to say lol....But give them some credit.

I was only in phase 3 but not alot of testing has been done and when you point out stuff to the gm's you get this is how it should be so you have a lvl 47 war struggling to kill iKH even KS yet a tao can solo OKS/DD ect no problem it needs a good 2 months of beta

they refused to test slow on a sin / a speed on a war and said if its over powered it deserved to be because it will cost alot to buy gems where is the logic in that ?

i found wizzard op as **** in pvp to the point where if its 1v1 the war/sin might as well run off / tt

shadow step was not in game was bugged so all testing was with out SS

i didnt play a hunter but it was a easy kill on a warrior

PB seems the only leveling map why would i go to any other cave when i can get 10k a mob in PB compared to orcs 15k? or the newer caves 16k? i can kill 3 PB mobs in time it takes to kill one it orcs / prime evil

one cave i went into normal mobs killed me within 30 secs as a level 47 warrior gm's response its a high end cave

so Wizzard will level faster then any other class they always have and always will yet it will be able to kill boss's that war/sin cant solo and be the best in PVP


If a warrior comes across a wizzard higher level they cant be killed if they manage to get 3 or 4 hits on them with 120 DC they can outpot your damage but good luck getting more then one hit on a wizard when they can just repulse you away

Slow on here is op to the point that if you get slowed you are dead in group pvp


I dont see the role of a mele class on this server when a wiz/tao can do everything better leveling/Boss/PVP

It's something you won't know till live, and quite frankly shouldn't know and shouldn't be determined by players. The exp and drop rates are the teams job, not ours...They will have it how they have it.

It wasnt a dig on testers but instead in the way team handled the betas.
I dont know which parts MirinBrah mentions are true but i expected a lot more threads like that unless of course everything is perfect or everything has been solved through TS.

Hunters need to be improved or they will be a useless class, adding static shock with yellow position effect or even red and maybe a taunting companion would improve them a lot, in phase 3 they hardly hit a lot of damage and that was end game kit

A server stress test is very much needed.

For files that have a stigma of crashing, freezing and generally breaking you really don't want to launch live and watch it bomb.
Chronicles had a hard time on live launch due to ddos attacks delaying it by a whole day. that really peeved a lot of players off because it is something they could have safe guarded against.
If you launch and crash/freeze/glitch simply because you did not want to stress test then its more fool you. (I'd suggest a sebuk style war with as many people as you can entice onto the server casting spells all over the place to see how it holds up.
I presume there will be ddos attacks from whatever pathetic individual(s) do that shlt. safeguarding ddos and stress tests would work very much in your favor if you can find the time to protect your own investment.

Tao's will always have superiority over soloing bosses, that will never change. You make these claims but only the saddest, no lives have hours to spend soloing bosses with poison.

A.speed and slow probably could have done with being tested, as it can be potentially game breaking in both pve and pvp. But maybe this is something they've done in private, or have made it seriously hard to obtain.

Wiz will always level faster due to mass killing abilities. But can they mass kill at a good rate in PB, orcs etc? Or will they be in lower caves e.g. PT as they can kill faster and easier therefore gain equivalent exp as a warrior killing in say PB? This is a point you've made without really thinking about it, imo. If you tested both warrior and wizards levelling capabilities then fair enough, but I doubt any significant testing on this was done and it just seems like a standard wiz will level faster moan.

Not sure about the pvp side of things, I saw a few pvp streams during certain phases (2 I think?) and damage looked reasonable equal through out, by which I mean wizards could be 2-3 hit easily. I can't say much more about this as didn't test, just what I saw. But bare in mind, without decent luck, there is no reason you should expect to 2hit a wizard, you may have top end dc 120 but you may only be hitting with dc 30. This shouldn't even need explaining or even spoken about after 15 years of mir. It's a low rate, if players are being 2 hit consistently when equal kitted then by level 45 the game is almost pointless.

Tao and wiz will always solo bosses better, they don't need to get hit if the room allows spots for them to easily wall or move around. I suspect warriors will still be able to solo bosses, but as with any low rate will find it much harder than classes that don't need to be hit.

There really isn't much you mentioned that imo isn't what a low rate should be. Maybe a melee class just isn't your cup of tea.

Also Chronicles lost 7more than 70% of their usercount and a huge factor in that was the dropfiles that were beyond sh it. Something that can be prevented with proper testing and not just numbers that should work in theory.

All i was saying above without trying to offend anyone is that other than the:
- quest bugs
- spell bugs
- replacement/invincible **** bugs
- etc

When you have so many beta phases with so many closed beta testers how retarded would it be on launch to face problems like:
- Items not dropping
- Spells being OP or UP
- Caves giving too high or too low exp
- Mobs being too hard or too easy
- etc etc

And i have seen so few threads of the above...

I agree with a lot of points.. needed to be open longer and more class balancing to be done. Also think there's something wrong with pot regen didn't get the time to test that fully.

But your arguments that ranged > melee in PvP. I won every PvP on my war vs wizz. Learn to move or don't play melee

Hi Guys,

I have been sitting and watching the replies on this thread. My first point would be that the server team are currently happy with the amount of reports we have received. We know that as a team we can address these bugs and retest them ourselves. We may consider doing some form of stress test, as I could not agree any more to the importance of this.

My main concern is that the players must understand that we are in no rush to get the server online. There is 1 or 2 features awaiting final alterations and implementation. Alongside the balancing issue, throughout phase 3 I followed at least every class for a period of time looking at the play style; as did my team. Therefore we feel, that although some classes feel slightly under balanced we are aware of this already, nevertheless welcome as much feedback as possible.

If the server team feel unsure about a specific class or drops we will most likely open a phase 4, this is not to pre-long it is simply that the time and effort gone into the server will not be wasted; therefore we want to achieve the best we can with the server and if another phase of BETA which will incorporate a stress test is needed then we will use it.

However in short: We are happy with what phase 3 brought to our attention we raised 1/4 of the amount of bugs as we did in phase 1 and 2, and we look forward to working towards getting the server ready for live.

How did you catch a wiz who use's clone that flinches you while he runs of and hit from range by the wiz ? let alone kill the wiz ? when he will stand in firewall
can wiz be killed by warrior yes but only if the wiz ****s up if they use clone/firewall and are smart run hit run they cant be killed

why lie tho lol

Your post seems a little cry hard for warriors. Lets break this down

First you complained that BDD mobs were too hard. What happened, they were lowerd immediately and made a lot easier. (but your posting here saying its not fixed, totally confused.

Refused? or denied, we have tested slow/speed and they are perfect. We didn't need any testing on this.

The wizzy op comment has been answered below.

This is mir, this is always how mir has been, If you 1v1 a wiz with no mobs about and he has clone, your going to get flinched out of the fight.

We have not put a "master Target" command in, so in a cave, the clone will be usless in 1v1, if you know what your doing.

You are describing...mir here.

It has always been like that in say a contest room. Its a different story though inside a cave where a wiz gets both flinched and hurt from mobs.
