FW plays a crucial role in this. You shouldn't be able to kill a warr who's running and potting just by just FD's. However if u stay behind ur fw's and make him charge in to get u, this will change I assure u. Obv as a wizzard, you should be higher lvl than most warriors u're fighting, which in this particular case, you're not. So idk if it's wise to say that a lower lvl/kitted wizzard should be able to kill a higher warrior that is not a complete n00b at playing the game.
It's even an unwritten rule of pvp between wiz and any melee class, where the wizz should only cast 1 fw for obv reasons.
But no1's stopping you to place more thn enough fw's just to make sure.
No one's disputing that mate. As I posted above I use FW and FD.
As I also mentioned I used the same tactics against Casper and Tango who are of similar level to me. Both sins and the main difference between the two was skill.
Casper landed many more hits on me due to the tactics I mentioned above. Tango just RTed or TTed when I got a multiple streak of ranged hits and fw on him. The main reason was due to the fact he didn't use his escape skills / move his char in the same way tha5 Casper did, not because there was anything wrong with FD or my overall damage.
I have only killed tango once, Why? Because the first time he attacked me in PB he charged in without any rts or tts in bag (prob assuming he could just floor me with flinch in a few hits), when I got a series of hits in due to decent aim he Just didn't have the skill to escape like Casper has. Subsequently, I haven't been able to kill him since because he just rts when I get a good streak in / if he doesn't manage to catch me.
What they seem to want is the damage to be lowered to the exent where they dont have to worry about dying so can spend more time on the attack rather than figuring out how to avoid / attack/ avoid / attack. (In my opinon).
