i think ppl that know what they are doing should team up the work.. i really hope that Preacher could team up with the others that are working in the bug tracker site so that you could fix the bugs quickier.. at the same time i hope also lifco will put an updated source code onto here so that anyone who has the knowledge can download and work on it..

lets face it tho, ive hardly seen ne1 post bugs, yet i made to do such a big list after being ingame after wot... 10mins.

More bugs :

* MirBoots doesn't work properly ( doesn't make you run like euros Mirboots )

* Monster MAGICS gives no effect on player at all eg. MinotaurKing red storm - left and right guards etc .. you just see the magic but no effect .

The bugs bon posted are the ones ive been working on because he originally made the list for me.

Because all your doing is releasing the binaries, yeah this seems good to people and it is a good thing to an extent, but its just like what TD did, and now all servers are pretty much the same.

The bug tracker site was setup with the files etc, so that any bugs found the code would be posted with the fix.

And this is working nice, the problem is that peeps keep posting the bugs on lomcn and not the bug tracker and also the amount of peeps helping is not huge as you know.

so why do you keep going on about just releaseing the exes ?

Why doesn't the TBL_STDITEMS stay in the order you want it to.

I've just started the db from scratch got up to about 80 odd saved it and then closed it. opened it up again and the numbers are jumbled up. i know you can sort them by clicking the ID tab but i just want it to stay in numerical order. What's wrong with it?

and also... my torch doesn't work for some reason, won't light up. is there any reason this might happen?

The FLD_LIGHT input a number between 1-5 for torch's, candles etc. to work.

You got the right STD_MODE lol then again if it goes in torch slot FLD_LIGHT needs a number in it ^^

ah wicked that would be why. i cleared the databases to start a fresh of my own. missed the few columns out at the end of the db because i hadn't got round to doing it yet.

unfortunately this went totally the way i didnt want it to end up.. that's sad because together you could have made a lot, i'm sure..

since i think either lifco and preacher have done really a good job with the files, i'd really hope you both could walk back on your steps and allow each other thier excuses and start working together..

i and all the community will surely be happy if this happened.. no?

btw theres another bug where curse will freeze with blue rather than purple, same with blizzard

not bein funny, but all the bugs in these files, are exactly the same as all the bugs with the SVN files that TDs were based off... so just check that bug list and fix them up

ppl think these files dont need much work, but they do in all honesty

Yes they need quite a bit of work but its better than having a dead end set of server files imo.
Once bugs fixed then new things should be looked into getting added. Rather than coding in unnecessary skills that no server will really use :err:

i agree, no offense lifco but i think codin stuff like rage sc and rage mc... mass rev etc etc, that sorta stuff should be left down to the server owner, as thats merely spell copyin, its not hard even i can do it and my delphi skills r crap

the files just need to get all the bugs fixed, and to the standards of near ish TDs, then look into updating to korean standards

but lets face it... lifco seems to be the only 1 thats fixin stuff, and hes not releasin his source for others to join in and help aswell so...?
basically it seems if u wanan work on em, u have to just start with the 1s on SVN, then search all over forums and crap or just go ingame and find ur own bugs, as the bugs on that bug tracker site are very few..

i honestly cant see the files goin far w/o a proper team of coders, and a team leader or some1 thats gonna go find these bugs. then the SVN updated with the fixes, but lets face it... no1 wants to give away and share their hard work for free

If someone could host a test server then we could have lots of people ingame at one time looking for bugs and posting them in here....thats all well me saying as i dont ha

just for the record i like doing skills and it dont take long to do them does it ?

i said i want to get good a skills so i can code all new skill

anyway my new rage skill needs testing by someone as i posted a few pages back, ive redone the crappy code with a all new code, so this needs testing for me.

yer i could of spent time doing other things but thats life, the thing is i like doing this and have no plans in stopping at all.

il get a test exe up later if someone wants to test the new rage skill for me

as i said its a bit crappy at lvl 1 and 2 but lvl 3 is a nice boost on the old rage plus like i said its a total new code
