I may become known for my crazy and DRASTIC ideas yet!
So, we get a lot of moans about skills and certain classes being unbalanced etc... Mostly the reason why we don't immediately bump up classes is because they are missing a portion of their skills that could potentially completely flip the balance on its head (ie FF is a potential game changer for Wizards).
My last suggestion was to put all skills in shops for a largish fee, the poll voted against this (which is fair enough I like to get clear facts like that).
So in the name of balance and fun... What if you were able to craft spell books from the crafter? This wouldn't be an easy task, there would be several other craftable items that would have to be used in the process (paper, leather, specific enchantment), that would each require their own set of items to be gathered and crafted.
In addition, there would not be a 100% success rate, you would have additional materials that would be used to boost the success rate.
Do I think I would enjoy this?
I believe I would, I would have an incentive to grind hard to the level I want and when I hit that level I would be distracted whilst gathering goods for the skill I want to learn...
Skills would still be in drops also.
Thoughts? *Puts fire proof coat on*
