Morning all,

With the Monk beta underway and Lilcooldoode focusing on any issues that arise from the beta testers... I have had a little time to potentially give the Archer class some much needed TLC.

I have made some changes to the class that will be ready to go as of next reboot... But I am a little bit concerned because some existing skills required refactoring...

Would one or two people who are passionate about improvements to the class be interested in hoping on the test server to make sure there are no regressions and to provide some feedback on the new additions.

Preferably I would want a couple of people who currently/have played Archers, and have a fair amount of experience with them.

Changes/additions:
- PowerShot: Now causes a repulsion effect on explosion causing enemies around your target to get pushed back.
- NEW skill "QuickLoad": Passive skill which will reduce the cooldown on archer spells.
- RapidFire: Had to be re-factored to allow QuickLoad to reduce its delay (this is the one I am most worried about).
- Traps: Although these haven't been changed, it would be good to have a few people dry test them incase of any issues.
- AttunedBody: Same as above.
- Decoy: Now spawns and moves with a single press, and is effected by QuickLoad.

Level requirement for QuickLoad is still pending, but is likely to be a high(ish) spell, so not to through the balance of the lower levels off...

started a archer the other day and i look foward to the powershot

i'm also thinking archer armor needs changing to have acc or dc ? im still in medium armor for the extra dc lol

I never thought i'd say this, but i miss lee's soundboards on ts. You want upgradings? Everybody wants upgradings.

On topic, it's good to see archers getting a buff although they already hurt like buggery so i dread to think what a high archer with quick load and rapid fire active will hit like!

Decoy looks very promising.

Maybe stupid to ask but will Quickload effect the cooldown of Arrowbarrage also?

Jackuzzie would almost certainly be interested in this Sam.

Not to imply too much but she's far less likely to keep quiet about overly beneficial features or exploits/bugs that could be used for a few weeks before they get fixed too.

Good guys Forsaken, none of them have ever exploited any bugs... not even their leaders.

QuickLoad will effect the following:
- PowerShot
- RapidFire
- DeathlyAim
- Decoy
- ArrowBarrage

It currently effects some more than others for example, with level 3 QuickLoad PowerShot will no longer have a cool down, but ArrowBarrage will have a 50% reduction.

I think KingTony is a good idea for checking, he does want archers to be a little OP but will offer a good view on these changes.
I'm also happy to test these changes, decoy sounds scary, I think the cooldown may need looking at slightly if its an instant change location. Ill be happy to test the tactics im already playing through in my head.

Should be on this evening.

Instant move from one spot to another is what Archers need, once they're flinched, they die far too quickly, whilst everyone else can counteract the Archers flinch!

This all looks very good without pushing the balance too far, well done.

Forgot to mention, I finish work on Friday and am off for two weeks until starting a new job, so can do ALOT of testing :)
