Not that it's perfect - that certain features (such as this one) were/are fine and had absolutely nothing to do with it's closing down as was loosely suggested.
You're missing the point, it's nothing to do with accuracy/agility/MR or any stats at all as far as what I'm talking about is concerned.

It has been the case on mir. The same movement bug or whatever it is...
It's not only how people ''have done it'' solely on Lomcn servers, it's how its been on every server, including all official ones. It isn't a bug. Being able to hit people while they are running, whether that be on a wizard, taoist or a warrior is not right and ruins a major part of the game...
If I was running around a warrior on any Mir I've played and he was holding shift, he'd never hit me. Similarly if I just walked around him, he'd rarely hit me (maybe 1 in 10). There's something seriously wrong with the hit detection here or the movement, I'm not sure which it is. For example on...
I assumed it was the movement mechanics which cause people to get hit by single target spells whilst running/dashing and cause warriors to be able to hit people that are running? Not had it on any other server so not sure what was changed here.
Well I'd imagine because the stats you could add from gems were capped here, unlike most servers. You couldn't ''max'' gem an item here in the traditional sense, as it was capped at +3 of any particular stat.
So just reduce the rate of levelling then. A far more sensible and less drastic move than a level cap. Level caps never work on Mir.
Why does it bother you if people make out they are good players? If they're not, then just kill them. It'll be easy if they're bad, regardless of level.
Meant to post this a while ago, IceStorms (and FireBangs) areas of effect are too large. Should hit 3x3 but currently hits 4x4 (I think, may even be 5x5, area seems huge).
Probably a good idea.
The biggest thing that needs fixing imo is the movement and this whole getting hit while running problem. It really ruins PvP completely.
Level caps aren't a great idea imo unless they're raised fairly regularly when new content is introduced. On other servers that have had level caps people get bored once they reach the cap. If people are bored of content now, imagine if you couldn't level either, what else is there to do?
It's success is based (or should be) on the casters lvl vs the targets lvl. It's not the duration of it that's the problem here, it's the dodgy PvP. The fact you can hit people on the run here coupled with being cursed makes it appear alot worse than it is. Did a test the other day, on a warrior...
