    I kind of feel there's an element of rose tinted glasses there. As awesome as it would be for us to recapture the original days of Chronicles I feel we'd have to do more than simply wipe and relaunch the current files

    I think taking someones work and using it for something unintended will generally annoy the original author and cause him to have a problem with the person doing it. Calling Jamie nuts is a little unfair.

    Delphi Mir 3 code was released in 2011, people had 7 years to bring them to a usable state and it never happened. Regarding the rest of your post, no one is under any obligation to release code for their projects and Jamie created the C# (Crystal) project, something I'm not sure he gets enough...
