    Bad motherboard then. Probably an IDE controller problem (Assuming you're using IDE.) Tried a BIOS update?

    Possibly a bad MBR, boot sector? Even more likely is that it's trying to boot something else first, which is failing. Move the HD to top of the boot priorities.

    Simple. Do you use USB a lot? If so, get the motherboard i suggested, and spend the extra money. If you don't, get urban's board & save the money.

    Aye, i just though Obliv would be the kind of guy who rushes out to by a 60gb iPod and decides to transfer his music collection to it. I know i am now suffering at the hands of a Xpress200 and a sexy Sony NW-HD5.

    Pretty much. You have the recon missions, the timed missions, the skill missions, the Air-to-ground missions, the air-to-air missions. Basically, if it involves a fighter, then you can be damn sure it's in the game.

    It's not that that i'm worried about, it's the incredibly poor USB controller. Very low USB transfer compare to the nForce 4 series.

    Ouch. I know the price of the normal ballistix compared to the tracers is insane. It's why i particularily dislike them :P I've only ever heard good about the G.Skill though, you're the first guy i've heard not to top 270 :P

    This game kicks serious ass. It achieves a great balance between simulation & arcade styling, and the storyline is pretty damn emotive. Not to mention the graphics are excellent (bearing in mind it's a Ps2 game).

    I would recommend the board i priced for. The Xpress200 doesn't perform as well, and with it being m-ATX form factor, you don't get too much upgradability.

    New Graphics card + Memory

    Yes, you would remove two of your 256mb modules, and place the two 512mb ones in their place. You WOULD feel a boost. Of course, if you want performance, you'd also take the last 2 256mb modules out, but you might want the extra 512mb of ram :)
