On a more serious note, put Urban in charge. He'd pwn the noobs and spank the *****es.
I'm going to pretend i didn't hear that.
No, wait, i can't. Maybe you fail to comprehend. This PC is LOWEST possible system that meets your specs. You asked for something usable, here it is. You wanted upgradability, each component here can be replaced with one of the next-generation ones.
I...
Two options from the Auronator today.
First up is the big-******* option. This setup will ensure your gaming performance is stellar, and so will be the hole in your pocket.
Second up is the reasonable-******* option. This setup is more like what you asked for in price, but the gaming...
I'm suprised i could manage this configuration.
Everything here supports the latest spec, and yet, isn't.
A very nice starting platform, in my opinion.
Uncle Sam doesn't need you, he needs a navigator
I must admit, i found the idiots confusing Australia & New Zealand for Korea particularily interesting :P
Well, considering you mentionned DDR333 ram earlier, you're probably using AGP.
In this case, i'd recommend an nVidia 6800 series if you want high-ish end, and a ATI Radeon X800GTO for mid-range.
The GTO thoroughly rapes the 6600GT, and they're cheaper ;)
All DDR Ram will work at speeds lower than it's rated speed.
For example, DDR400 will happily run at DDR333's speeds.
However, DDR333 will not happily run at DDR400's speeds.
Well, the box i used to use for all my hosting & testing was a sexually sweet AMD Athlon XP 1700+, with 512mb PC2100 RAM and a 80gig harddisk. It stood in the corner of a not-so-well-ventilated room, and made mincemeat of the mir server files :P
Hahah, I remember the mass nooblet hunts into the WT KR. 40-odd noobs charging the WT is my definition of what Mir2 BETA was :P
I remember when joining a guild was considered a privelege, and level 17+ wizards would watch in awe as a level 14 used elecshock.
God, those days were good.
For those of you who still haven't realised.

Enjoy. There's an example on there a LOT like the one here.
Btw, it's 0.35. You don't look at anything after the 4.
