    Final Fantasy...

No. FF7 was the best, and has had the most demand for a re-make. And as a result, it just happens to be the PERFECT platform defining game for the Ps3. That, or Killzone 2.

    upgrading pc. advise please.

It will support the Sempron. The only way to get the upgrade done is to buy the components together. While you may be able to get the ram in your current PC, that's a choice down to you. The motherboard & CPU go hand-in-hand.

That 1.6ghz would beat your AXP 3000+ into the ground, and then EAT the corpse. Also note that motherboard has inbuilt graphics and support for PCI-e. You won't get that much of a better setup for the same price.

Windows Vista - what do you think?

The ShellPack doesn't do the real thing justice. While the GUI looks incredibly nice (I use it myself.), without the Windows Presentation Framework, you're only getting a third of the experience. WinVi, aswell as the Aero skin, will feature hardware acceleration and effects. You see these in...

Do you have a Download Cap?

I'm sat on a 15gb cap - but it doesn't bother me. I never really get close to it anyway.

    Looking for a Laptop

You have more chance of Tony Blair teabagging your grandparents than meeting your specs. 40gb is the 'standard' size of laptop harddisks at the moment. 60gb gets expensive. 80gb....Well....look more to £1500 than £500. And warranties - they don't come particularily cheap either. Buying from a...

SEcond Attempt at siggy - plz r8

See if you can antialias the chinese characters, as they kinda let it down a little. And if possible, try and sort the gradient out (There are clear lines of colour). An optional idea might be to find a higher resolution picture of the Tao, as you appear to have jaggies even on the larger image...

    Irans Nuclear Station

While over the course of a decade china could upgrade their military technology, they would still be limited by what's internationally available. The USA is only limited by researchers who don't want their latest & greatest mass produced yet. Also: Money doesn't buy tacticians. Tactics aren't...

    Irans Nuclear Station

Yep, within around 30 days the nation of Iraq had been defeated by a power located SEVERAL THOUSAND MILES AWAY. That's testament to a nation's power if ever i saw it. Edit: And if you want an example of a China vs USA situation, take a look at Russia vs Germany in World War 1. China, a nation...

    Irans Nuclear Station

In terms of technology, America still holds sway. Take a look at the DARPA website, and you'll realise just how superior they are. Those lasers are now beyond proof-of-concept, and are actively being fitted to fighter jets. (F-15s, for those that way inclined.) Hell, their next-generation...

    help..

The serial that came up when you formatted the drive is the DRIVE SERIAL. You want the OPERATING SYsTEM SERIAL. Two very, VERY different things :P You should have a sticker on the bottom of your laptop, take the code from that. Otherwise, go buy your operating system.

    Irans Nuclear Station

No. Instead, you give your nuke to state-sponsored terrorists. These individuals are not acting on behalf of the state, and so there is no 'legal' basis for war. That is the single biggest threat to peace. Crazy middle-eastern nations KNOW NATO could quite easily wipe them from the face of this...

That's because the BBC fits into that lovely 4.4% fully internal traffic. I would provide an example of the UK->USA-> UK flow, except all my tracert's are ending prematurely all of a sudden :P

    Irans Nuclear Station

Actually, it's just down to ISPs. Most ISPs wind up routing their traffic through to the US' servers. See my tracert to www.lomcn.co.uk below, and you'll understand :P While LINX handle the traffic BETWEEN the ISPs, the second quote highlights my point. Most traffic leaves the UK, and then...

    Irans Nuclear Station

Actually, most UK ISPs route all their traffic through the USA anyway. It's why even on broadband you get > 100ms pings for most websites, while a select few give you ~ 30ms.

How Mir Could STOP Hackings Forever

Aside from the small issue of a non-standard BIOS, which would render a system such as that completely useless. New, open-source biosses allow you to use Windows 2000 these days, and so all of my previously mentionned tools will still work. And then you just capture the packets from that...
