Interesting... that's actually my IP address; its not a port attack - its simply a port check to see if the server is up.. Its part of a 'Front End' that im putting together..
Perhaps I should only check the login port :p
Your server is probably binding on your loopback address rather than your lan IP address.. Don't use 127.0.0.1 in your server setup instead use your lan IP eg 192.168.0.2, also make sure your port forwarding is set to the correct lan IP.
To get your lan IP open a command prompt and type...
If the bot detection is as solid as you say; why not implement some kind of automatic action when a player is flagged as a bot, for example teleport them to a 'prison cell' then perhaps let them escape if they can answer an NPC maths questions in less than 60 seconds..
