I used to play it. I never went on any servers though. I prefered to just chill out on single player mode and see how far I could get. Other players are scarier than the zombies. It is a good game though and they are always updating it. There are also a fair few mods for it to change your game...
I don't think it would be possible to re-create Dragon 2001. I don't believe it is just the content that makes a server. It is also the players and the community that made it what it was. For me the Nostalgia feeling of Mir was from the people i played with and the fun we had, not just the mobs...
It's a shame there are so many potentialy good projects going on at the moment that are running as 1 man teams. The problem is now, most of these people would find it hard to leave their current project to join a team because of all the time and effort put into their own project.
There arnt really any gripping MMOs out there now. I played Black Desert Online not too long ago. That was alright. Quite a lot to do on there but maybe a bit too much. I recently went back to play WoW which seems to suit casual players very well.
I don't think many companies are making MMOs...
You can achieve this by using a timer and a timer event.
Set the timer to start running while the text is showing. Then set the timer to trigger the event every X seconds.
In the timer event just set the text to change colour.
Make sure you set the timer to stop when the text is no longer showing.
