Drops on floor stay far too long on floor.

see i dont get it, why not have them stay that long?
especialy the items players drom on death.
if you die and drop some gear, you'll be happy it stays for a while, gives you time to go back and get it

I hate it lasting to long becoz it's just floods places with crap! Imo 10-20 is long enuff!

Where's the challenge of trying not to die to not drop items, when you can just go pick it back up in ample time?

Plus surely with the 200-300+ players it'll have on release, all these drop files on the floor for so long is going to pile up and cause lag?

Just my 2 cents.

I agree 1 hour is excessive, but 15mins is sadistic.

I'm shocked this has been changed to 15mins, stop giving the devs crazy ideas :p

What's wrong with 15 minutes? If you can't get back to your corpse in 15minutes then you died in a far away cave and you have only yourself to blame for not TTing in time :P

Besides, on live, people will most likely get to your item way before you ever do any way.

Besides, on live, people will most likely get to your item way before you ever do any way.

Some people like to push the boundaries of what their groups are capable of and expect the occasional wipe of a 30-60man group in places like Orc and JP kings rooms. A 15 min timer is narrow-minded and will only encourage people to wear shop items on their respective guild hunts.

this.

make the monster drop 15 minutes
make the death drop 25-30 minutes

honestly i'd rather have drops everywhere then risking losing items.

also mobs spawn rate is higher than it was on ace. so getting back may not be as easy as you first think.

while were at it lets go kiddy mode and make it so u drop nothing on death as well then ye.........

mass long lasting drops have always lagged mir servers both 2 and 3. think 200 players killing mobs droping random crap like small hp mp pots that nobody picks up within 20 mins the servers flooded with **** on the floor and it drains resources.

hell whos the hell is dying to mobs anyway. you have a instant TT for that reason. if ur not fast/good enough to hit it u deserve to drop to a mob and loose an item just like if u die in pvp

but player death drops really (imho) should be 1hr +

Have it at about 30min, I think that's fair.

Also limit the drops from mobs. No one wants to see loads of medium pots, blue rings, amber necklaces etc all over the floor in ZT!

Not giving an opinion on drop timer, just thought i'd say.. But Legend of Mir isn't really such a demanding game on a modern PC/Server nowa days is it really...
