I thoroughly enjoyed reading through everyones posts and opinions on the Assassin class, and there are some very strong points.
With what ziiid said, if MoonLight ignored AC it would be excellent for PvE and not at all overpowered for PvP (IMO), because mobility is a key factor as a melee when PvPing and if you can't run you can't do much. The only way this would benefit in PvP was when Toe to Toeing another melee character.
This also being said, with Mobility involved, Assassins no longer have the "Dash" part to "FlashDash", it doesn't automatically run us ahead giving us chance to escape when being targetted by Archers/Wizzys/Taoists because we are forced to just walk in hopes that they miss an attack.
Of course this part is a little off topic.
But with a few more points being said here:
1. Poison Sword - This would be great for some small AoE DPS on an Assassin if it did more damage, currently it's purely just a regain stopper. (If that's what was intendid then it's doing it's job perfectly)
2. Moon Light - If this did cut through all AC then Assassins would have an edge over Warriors in PvE without massively impacting PvP. But this is debatable!
3. Double Slash - This should be left alone in my opinion, I believe if DoubleSlash was improved it'd massively imbalance the class as it's the key move that always deals damage.
4. Flash Dash - Massively weak as agree'd by most people on this thread.
This server is excellent in the sense that people can actually have a mature discussion about such things, and gives me high hopes for it's community tbh. There'll always be the odd troll or two, but this is good. I like it.
