Ok, this is some of the stuff i hope to have working on the server, some of it is minor, and some is significantly awesome. Your job is to provide info on what you want in, and what you want out. What your going to have to do is read this entire thing, becuase many implemented ideas, cross over with other ideas.
lets start with some good stuff.
1. Sabuk Wall - The wars almost always seem pointless, so a rejuvenated system is being put in place that will only allow sabuk wall owners to use the refiner. Sabuk wall owners will also have access to a special set of Dungerons with a slight increase in experiance and drops. The wall wars will be improved with the addition of seige golem mobs that can be summoned by each team when a war is on. To stop players from camping inside the palace, a hard mob (non dropping) will occasionally spawn in the room to liven thigns up a bit.
2. Guilds - were going to limit the number of guilds to make sure there is always a fair number of players in each guild, so that one guild cannot tkae a majority of players and control the entire server. The number of guilds available will increase with the number of players on the server. Each guild will be given their own map, which they must defend, or they risk loosing their town and the bonuses that come with it. It will be up to the guild leader to organise the inital defence of the town, but it can be actively attacked by anyone at any time. Guilds will always be available in even numbers, so 2 at the start, increase to 4, for the urpose of the following idea.
3. Religion - this forms the basis of the defence of a town, as well as providing a number of other important functions. Firstly, the religion you follow will determine the type of summon you get when at a sabuk wall war. The same creature will also be used in the defence of your guild town in times of need. The religion also dictates the trials and challenges your guild will face, and these will be set by a "Shrine NPC" that will start a long quest which will involve teamwork and solo play to complete the quests and gain good rewards. The first such quest will be a quest to gain your summoned creature spell ring.
4. Guild Towns - The guilds town maps can be selected on any of the new maps added to the server, you will have to have a guild first, and then you need to select a map. Your guild town can basically be built in any location you choose, and for a fee of gold can be modified, added to, or redesigned. This work will require a certain about of time to take place depending on the size of the changes your making (this also gives our map maker *richie* time to make the map) Guild towns will offer lower priced goods to guild members, each town will also have a raid temple that will open during a specific time frame once the guild is strong enough to get in. The rights to the temple are owned by whatever guild currently holds the town, so if you dont defend your guild town, and lose the rights to it, you will have to wait until you can get back in, or try and take another town. Each raid temple will drop a part of a set, so guilds will have to trade parts they have for parts they need, or try and take over the town to get the rights to the temple. in total there will always be a few more towns maps than there are guilds, so players should always be able to take one town.
5. Events will be held regularly with auto-spawn events being set by the server after certain actions or just by chance at times. Certain accomplishments ingame will only be available after an invasion of mobs has succesfully been defeated, The first such scenario will involve players having to take back the main town in the game. Other events will include opening new temples and Zones, and invasions of player owned towns, and the occasional subuk invasion during a war.
These are the primary concepts im looking at getting ingame at this point in time, once they are in place, working and tested we can look at adding more of them. Certain things are not garunteed in the game as we still need to work out the details of exactly how to get them to work etc. but we till keep you posted on whats happening with the server planning.
