I will raise to 10 minutes. In the 7 years + i've been playing mir it hasn't taken me ten minutes to get back in any cave.

Less drops on floor, less lag.
Yeah get back in any 'cave' .... we were on about KR's if you read it properly and if you meant KR's then we havent played the same servers.

Yeah get back in any 'cave' .... we were on about KR's if you read it properly and if you meant KR's then we havent played the same servers.

They have a point. This means if you die and drop in a KR you've got no chance of getting it back. If that's how you want it though then fine

Hmm, I'll up it because was a fair point to about 20 minutes. Now you can't say that is not more than enough.

It's all dependant on whether there are kr teleports, whether rt's can be used on certain floors also strength and amount of mobs.. For example on most servers if you died in zt kr, if you didn't have recall to maze, then you'd be hard pushed to make it back in 10mins.. hell, even running from maze entrance, you would only have 7 and a half mins after the recall period, would be a tough ask.. now consider fox boss, basically impossible, ok kr probably impossible, if people lose their best items, you will have some pretty unhappy players..

Edit: just seen post above that would seem better, still think you'll have some moaning tho, most servers tend to have it for an hour before stuff disappears..

Ive played all of the big ones apart from mirrevenge, P69 had caves that took hour to get to kr... Massacre had caves that took long to get to KR, loads of servers have done, maybe youve only played the **** ones that last a week.

I played P69 in my time playing there it didn't take me 1 hour to get to a KR. Maybe your just slow.

Also am usually a mir 3 player not mir 2. Hence why am bringing some mir3 features to my server.

Tbh the drop tine doesn't really effect you that much lets face it...maybe if it was like WT KR or ZT KR, but Fox KR you wouldn't get the items back even if you had 5 hours lol, without a full group anyway...and just trying would cause you to lose more items.

20-30 mins should be fine, as anything higher for the bigger KRs is simply pointless

I also don't think people would quit from simply losing items as its a very big part of the big lol, people would prob rage quit and be back in a day or 2 at the most

Anyway, whats this database manager of yours doing? sitting on his ass? lol

The database manager I did hire is working a lot now and only doing bits, he works 50-60 hours a week so am hiring a new database manager.

Now got a partnership going with a friend. He is helping with the server, including databases.

Myself and my work partner have now decided what we are going to do with caves.

All items are being made as we speak. Caves will be added tomorrow. Got work tonight so can't do it tonight.

Things being added:

* Caves - 3 caves for every 20 levels e.g. Leveling cave, Group cave and boss cave.
* Items - Please note each cave will drop different kit e.g. levelling cave = basic kit, group cave = moderate kit and boss cave = intense kit.
* Wizard Taming Cells - Wizard who chose the path of lightning.
* Pet rental - Rent pets by achieving quests e.g. kill 2000 tongs to be able to rent them.

3 caves per 20 lvls? not much choice, you'll have everyone in the same caves... ppl will get bored etc

Hi i have joined SirSimpson to help him with the server.
Thats 12 caves upto only level 100, personally i think thats enough, bare in mind the 3rd cave will be a multi floor temple with mobs, sub-bosses, and bosses.

Also baring in mind there wont be a million people playing the server unfortunatly, and this isnt a single player game. Maybe it will be fun to meet someone in a cave?

If anyone still wants more caves we are keen to listen and consider?

Also i dont think there will be anything stopping you trying the level 80 caves at level 60 if you think your good enough.

Agreed.1 lvling cave per 20 lvls on a...med rate?Even for extreme rate that would be low...

1 question.Reading your posts etc im pretty sure tho ur server sounds tempting you will mess balance about drops and classes etc.How will sins work?Can you explain what spells they gonna have?Plz dont just say usa spells.Explain which and how they will work.

Also consider if the average level gets to 140 months down the line? thats 18 caves, 5 of them being multi level temples. Is that enough caves ? Theres nothing stopping you going to level in 1 of the temple floors...yourl get less exp but maybe yourl meet a sub-boss.

As SirSimpson said Assassins kit will have high dc but low defense, hes doing the spells so ill leave him to answer.

Don't spread your caves out like that, you'll only need 1 or 2 for the first 20 levels, then an increasing amount of caves from there on. Spread your caves out depending on how long you'll spend in each level range. Having 3 caves for 0-20 where people will spend max of a day in them, then having 3 caves at level 100 where people will spend weeks is retarded.
