Right... So to recap, the ideas to fix pvp are = fix flinching, fix fps, fix shoulderdash. Give more diversity to ingame character speeds. Flinching is "being looked at" apparently. Soon as people talk about fps and sdash, Samuel goes ignorant about it. So the perceived answer is that pvp will never get fixed. Even if the truth was that he's 8 hours a day on it, not giving answers equals to = I don't give a ****, go away.
The excuse "not everyone likes to pvp" does infact apply, since those who do probably aren't playing anymore due to the fact pvp is gross. But there's a small chance they could come back if something was done about it.
I can't also stress enough how people that that choose to invest more money in their system, or that take their time to read/try/fail/retry ways to improve their system, should indeed be faster than those who go out, buy a 50£ pc from the mid 90s and expect to have superb performance. It's like sitting on your fat ass all day infront of your TV and as such pretending to be worth 1M a year.
Standardizing speeds is something you should be avoiding, rather than focusing on. I really don't see why you have been and are so anal about "speed balance", when the result is infront of your eyes.. Nobody wants to be the same as everybody else. If everyone is the same speed, nobody will want to fight.
You are pretty much told how to fix your server and how to treat your customers here.. Up to you guys really to go ignorant about it or fix it. Once arabs are done getting their chars leveled and figure out pvp is junk they will also leave. Up to you to keep them ingame or not. You are down 350 users since server started, roughly 2/3rd of the population has left for better shores. Alot of stuff has been ignored in the past, just like I have been asking for pvp to be fixed since the beginning, and all that was fixed since then was run+shift. Soon as I started talking about the rest I also started getting ignored. Up to you to change for the better or to end up with 50 users in 6 months.
Please start another thread about gems and luck, spam is not nice. You will also find that one can have dc200 aspeed 8 and max luck, but if pvp was ala euro and he couldn't fight his way out of a paper box, he would die/rt/tt like he should. On chronicles you could give that sort of stats to a monkey, and all he'd have to learn to win a fight against anybody would be to click on his foe, charge tdb/fs and keep shift pressed, and give it the odd dash. Or in the case of a sin, charge haste, click foe and press shift. Veeery demanding.
Please also start another thread about safezones, which I will agree are absurdly big and they're anywhere. I honestly can't see how adding safezones was a priority over the rest. The users that cried about them have most likely quit the server due to the boredom caused by not getting pked anymore anywhere anyway.
Take all of the above as a mere opinion, and do what you will with it.
