because everyone uses lomcn? Cause 30 people out of 300 matters? Mir has always been about drops you wanna craft books of play another mmorpg

People want it too easy get a grp and camp a few bosses like Mir always has been?
Surely you may do this then, and let other people have their fun too?
How long has everyone been playing this game now?
Yeah let the only people who "work hard" at mir gain all the advantages like euro.
Every game needs a CHANGE every now and then, why not mir ffs?

Get over yourself and how hard you work at mir, LOL

Servers never closed because of book drops servers come and go cause of expenses history's has been good in Mir if not why are hundreds still playing?

the fun in Mir is bossin leveling and pvping and has been for aslong as I can remember.

@lancelot1 add me ingame mate, we can get some hunts going :)

Also for a start not everyone will have these books, as from what has been said, it's not going to be a breeze to get, and once you get all the materials, it's no guarantee either.
My addition to making the mats (and crafted books) non tradeable, stops bots and no lifers pumping all the books in game, and forces each player to have to farm for them if they want the books this way. (if you cba to farm, then you can camp bosses (which also provides other items too)).

You talk about your opinions based around you, but you don't take the entire player base into consideration.
You talk about group hunts being beneficial, there are people like me who can't get on when a lot of people are on, or I can't make the hunts as I can't commit time slots to Mir all the time.

This Idea would help the solo players actually have something to work for and level for (work for the books, level to learn the spells).

It doesn't take anything away from boss hunting, it just adds another level of accessibility to players.

Everybody will have curse, flame field and arrow barrage. as server progresses. How long it'll take is different.

People are missing out on the bigger picture here. By making spells craft able from bosses, it allows lower Tier players who are unable to hunt larger bosses due to larger guilds dominating them a fair chance to obtain a spell. Just because a spell is craftable, doesn't mean it is going to be more common than the dropped book.

Now im not entirely sure how drops work or rates.. but surely as long as the combined drop rate of the required items exceeds the drop of the original un crafted version i cant see how any of you can argue. At no point did sam say crafting them would be easer than killing them. It was just an additional way to get it.

Items should be tradeable though, people may want to help eachother etc.

No. Your idea of fun is bossing (whether solo or grouped), levelling and PvPing. Not everyone's.

Mine is getting all the skills, doing duels with buddies, helping out newbs, seeing if I can solo boss X or Y, hunting for gold to buy the best gear or for the gear itself, breaking stuff while refining.

I don't think the possibility of crafting skills is such a bad idea.
And why shouldn't every Wiz have FF and every Tao have Curse? Would it be OP? If so, why isn't it OP when just 2% of the players have these spells?

I'd say go ahead, make the changes. There will be imbalances, but this server is a work in progress, the Team will make tweaks and try to head back towards a balance.

You can never please everyone. Some complain that the game is becoming stale and needs changing. Then suggestions like this come along and everyone shuns them before giving them a chance.

All these different views of forum users are a bit mad and confusing for me to get my head around!

YES for me, better the skill crafted ,the reason why you can enjoy the game ,and satisfied the player who everyday played and lvlin,like [GM]said the small player have chance to grow up be fair for those nothing .. so for me yes i enjoy this game if the skill is craftable.

Have the books drop more often but introduce the manual/translation system like mir3 had with books.

You pay a fee to translate the book so it can be used. adjust the rate of success to suit amount of players on server.

Most of the higher teir boss's could be killed with 2people anyway if u got the chance to kill without getting jump

So we also having discussions about sub professions... Professions at the moment would be:

Mining
Crafting
Harvesting
Refining (maybe)

Dont forget about digging in the dirt piles. Spread them across more caves. Chances to dig into "ghoul cave" equivalents or get a WG pop out instead of 5 zombies.

You could interlink the professions to by having say craftable digging gloves for dig speed, crafting materials found whilst digging and so on.

yeah that could work I remember them days make it still kinda hard even if it was crafted atleast it would have a chance to not work like a gem

Think craftable books would be better then me missing a few important warrior books...

I would say no to this idea initially but ive been without Lions Roar etc for far too long.

+1 and if you think population need them more add them not only to top tier bosses so eachone from level 20 - xx can them obtain from mobs,subs,bosses... eachone how he like it.

I think if you would add spells to shop - remake a Poll... i am sure ppl will vote for yes - the haters of this server quit now (i feel) all who wanted bad rates and so on...

There has already been a poll about shop spells. people voted no.
