m8 i have tried it all.

You defend drugs because you keep taking them i have witnessed people in my family deteriorate because of drugs and because of that i will never take them again or never encourage someone else to take them.

Like pixie said if you need drugs to enlighten your life then you are a sad person.

Well said bud.

I dont need drugs to enlighten my life.. I have a fit blonde with big tits.. I'm playing for my county at warwickshire (colts), i'm in a band currently working on grade 6 for my drums.. I'm making money and socialising loads at WarwickCastle where i work.. They also predict good things for me there, and believe i am over performing at the required level there.. And im 16..

I think weed has helped me to be honest.. So drugs have enlightened my life.. You think i'm sad?

Weed is only illegal because, if it became legal, Yes people would over use it.. But the government wouldn't be able to tax it well atall (people being able to grow very easily in their own back gardens)..

I know i said it was my last post but... I'd fight for my opinion to the very last day that this thread is open.

It's very hot today, so get out and have a good one! Theres a peace festival in my town today, i'll prob be chillin there l8er after work..

Manufactured correctly? You have no ****ing idea what your talking about. I don't think that if the Viagra people made speed it would be safe,

Fact: More people end up in hospital each year from alcohol related conditions than those who use Marijuana.

Soft (or 'Recreational Drugs') aren't that bad as long as they're taken in moderation. I've smoked Dope and Skunk, and I use it on a regular basis (usually 3 or 4 days a week).

As for harder drugs such as LSD,Amphetemine,Cocaine,Heroin. Anyone stupid enough to try these deserves to suffer the consequences.

Make Marijuana legal? Yes, it would bring control of the drug into the hands of the government.

The key to anything in life is in Moderation, too much of anything can kill you.

Now before you jump up and say "drugs are bad, mmkay" just consider that smoking kills more people in a week than Marijuana kills in a year. Want to make something illegal?

--Solitude--
The number of smokers and drinkers outweigh drugusers like on a 100 to 1 scale, of course the numbers are going to be higher...

Where are you getting your medical information... you have been smoking too much of the product yourself, it doesn't prevent cancer....

And yes, people are addicted don't try to play it off.

Not sad, horrifically ignorant.

In fact, you display your ignorance in your next paragraph. If you think weed is not legal because the government can't tax it well your heavily misonformed and misguided, most likely blinding yourself because you are in fact a druggie, trying to justify your actions, which frankly, can't be rightly justified.

At the end of the day it's up to the person whether they do it or not. Drugs can **** your life up and I've seen it happen, I've seen some of my cousins deteriorate because they started off with weed and just went up and up and up.

But, a little weed sittin in a backroom isn't really gonna hurt anyone. It's when you try and drive while high or go out clubbin while high, thats when you're stupid because you're just increasing the chance of death. A man driving who isn't high has more chance of surviving that a man driving who is high.

Do drugs but don't abuse drugs I reckon.

That's a very risky comment to make, as 3/5 people will get hooked and continue to use it. You may be able to control how much you take, and control the drug rather than it controlling you, but a lot of people wouldn't be able to.

The best advice to give is just don't risk it.

Drugs are risky but it's all about human temptation and control. If you pop a 16 year old roman catholic infront of Pamela Anderson naked he's gonna want to ram her silly. 16 year olds will almost always fall to peer pressure, and almost always give into temptation.

That's being realistic, rather than saying 'Drugs are bad - don't do it', we know they're bad, people who take them must think at one point ' sh'it am I getting hooked ' , yet they still do it.

So rather than live in Bizaro World and pretend that people aren't going to do drugs, isn't the smarter opinion to accept that they will? Then the point turns to how to minimize the risk of drug taking; sit in a back room with your mates and bun weed, what could happen? You might slap someone you shoudln't, but you're not goin to kill everyone in the room.

Fixed.

Forced acceptance because 'it's going to happen' is already an attitude of defeat.

Like pretending people aren't going to kill each other? Still happens, but it happens less because everyone is against it, you take away that passion people have against murder, then people will do it more and more.

Influence plays a great part in life, those who listen generally stay out of trouble, but when the waves are crossed (e.g. one person saying it's good to take drugs, another saying it's not) then there is an even chance they will go the other way.

There are a lot of young members on this forum, that play MMORPGS... and so far the things they're seeing in this thread is that if you take drugs you level fast on MMORPGS, and it has no risks, and people are making out it's ok to do it.

If you have a kid, when it's young... if you like, tell it not to obey any law, break them all, murder, steal, rape, take heroin... w/e, but I bet they will listen to you over law. The same rule applies to peer groups.

People still accept that murder, rape, theft etc will happen... but without someone there saying it's wrong, it would happen all the time. Do you not understand? Obviously comparing that to taking weed is going a little OTT, but the moral of the story is still there.

But taking weed is a debatable thing. There are debates going on in the country arguing that it's good/bad/harmful/harmless etc. There are no debates about murder/rape/theft, that is 100% wrong and even the murderers/rapists/theives know that theyre doing something which is totally unacceptable and morally wrong.

This is not 'forced acceptance'. Sh'it I did weed a few times but I was smart enough to realise that whatever the debate it's an unnecassary risk to take. But I came to my OWN decision through trying it out.

People learn through mistakes, and while we can try our best to give them advice and help them learn from our mistakes, you can't fully know the depth of something until you've expierienced it yourself. I was watchin Ricki Lake the other day (I was ill... :P) and this dude, in the blood gang, responded to 'gangs might get you shot' with 'it's only a bullet'. He doesn't know what the hell it feels like to be shot, but in his mind he can take it.

Yea true he's probably an ignorant prick, but lets face it so are most people. I think you are coming from the angle that anyone on here arguing, in any way at all, that drugs could be accepted is providing a negative effect on younger readers of the forum. I'm talking alot more generally, alot of people don't have things such as internet to help inform them and so they can only learn from their own expierience.

It's not 'forced acceptance' as such, it's being realistic. Being realistic isn't a form of defeat, I think the illusions and disillusions some people create lead them to conjur opinions based upon...nothing at all.

Exactly what I was trying to say.

I think your inbias, like myself, I have always advised people who haven't taken drugs, not to take them. If you are satisfied with your life without doing them, then don't, you will only find unsatisfaction. However, it's different when you have done them, I persoanally would say that dropping my first pill was the worst mistake of my life, by doing it I found unexplainable euphoria, a sense of well being so great I wished that the night would go on forever. But how can you regret such a happy moment? I don't! However much of a bad mistake it was, I'm still to this day glad I done it. By saying this, I'm not trying to encourage anyone to do ecstacy, but I'm trying to show you how by just doing it once, will change your life forever.

Back to your post FUTURA, I couldnt quite make out the morals within the second paragraph however I think this might be relivant to it:
From my own experiences within the world of drugs, I have noticed a key difference between those who fall to drugs, and those who continue to succeed, this is that people who do the drugs for the image feel the long term effects far earlier, and greater than those who do it for legit reasons. It is also about keeping your head together, striving to continue to better yourself rather than just letting go. I believe true strength is in the mind

ppl have said that drugs dnt screw up ur life, but i have had m8s tht have ttoaly ****ed up there lives now 2 left school cos they got the "i dont give a ****" attitude after smokign weed and taking e's a while. 1 went into his science exam stoned the other day..... one got his face stamped on cos he owned sum 1 a fiver.. the drug life is proberly more dangerous than the drugs em selves :S if u let ur self get involved e.g... gang fights etc, fights over ownd money, ltting ur tab get bigger and bigger, stealign things cos u ned money... lots of reasons.

You cant say that drugs arnt bad cos they simply are life wud be allot bettee without non perscription drugs cos ppl wudnt of herd of them and wud no any better.
