Well going to bed, got a nice long day of drinking planned tomoz. Got 70 quid for booze, fags and food =D

Hope it's good weather, gonna sit on decking on my back garden when I get up with a few mates, have some beers, listen to some music. Get some food, go out for a few hours to play footie, come back go to my mates house and have a party, order food...Throw up everywhere most probably then come home and if I am able, maybe sit on mir for a few hours. If not, pass out in bed and wake up in a pool of a mixture of spit, urine and sick...Great day huh? =D

tbh, this is a fun server in most parts, easy to level ( but even then you still get the lazy gits saying help me lvl ), its a shame to see all the problems that are happening it would be nice to just let the server run and play it but as we found on bandet for some reason there is always a select few who want to moan and moan and moan somemore and at somestage the host/gms just have enough of it, and in this case its got to lifco, thanks for hosting as long as you did lif, its a pitty you cant just ignor the idiots but its harder to put that into practice when you feel they are directing it at you.

anyway, was fun while it lasted

I cant see this server lasting much longer now to be honest.If your going to make/host a server, yo should be prepared for citisism.

Skyline, most of uz have a life like me and lifco, we try do our best to be on / support others.

Just a shame there was problems b 4 which i wudnt like the server n all the items init to continue.

Server will just be getting upgraded all the time and up for a very long period.

But if lifco doesn't host anymore it will be back to moblag like all the time and lag whenever your sister decides to use computer or you decide to download music or send/recieve something from msn or download.

I understand you dont want people moaning all the time, i used to hate it when i had servers... but you should expect it.

It was a good server, most ive played mir in a very long time tbh, but the restart did it for me.

Right heres your first mistake, being retarded.

I am gobsmacked at how many people, havent read the numerous 'Lifco isnt hosting it posts' and then continue to ask when its back up, shocking.

Secondly i played the server for a short time, and cant say im suprised that its down. Its an OK server but it is poorly managed, i thought the injection of lifco into the team would help, but thus far it hasnt.

I cant forsee the server being long term, therefore there is no point playing it.

Firstly he stated there was corruption on a post and pulled plug and demanded a wipe, next he can't be bothered because of people moaning.

This server was good to play and alot of fun a few of us ditched euro for a bit because of it. My feeling is that the short term success was because there was only one GM as soon as other outside influence comes into it, it messes a server up. The best hosts are the ones who just host and thats it, not try to take other and spit out there dummy at anything a character on a game says to them.

After a wipe the server still proved to be busy by the usercount it attained and didn't lose many players but when this is a regular occurance people give up.

Mir is a game which all age groups can connect to some use if for various reasons boredom, fun, anger, making friends, or to compete. There is always going to be fights, disagreements and general moaning. For this server to continue we need a unbias mature host who is not vulnerable to childrens abuse.

I think the corruption side was the reason for the wipe... I may be wrong.

Back to Euro i suppose =/edit: also user count will be highish as people would give it a try again, but would then fall as they think... i cba to do it all again.

Tbh its an verry ok server if you ask me i played with an old m8 last nite and i like it even if ppl say its just for fun i think its good server but just needs 99.99999% uptime and all be fine so get the server up and never get it down for nowt!!!!so ppl can play

i carnt beleive its going down just because u aint got a host, before lifco hosted you were host yourself, yes it was abit laggy but it worked,
so many people would be willing to host this server and your just saying o well server down?

all i wanted was to help daydie host his server coz he could not run it from his pc coz of lag etc,
so i tho i would help him, all i said to him i dont want to be doing reboots all the time coz i dont have the time to add the new stuff and mess about...

but when the char got hacked and he wanted to wipe the char db i said to him you will lose players, but really it was the only thing to do as it was to hard to find out when it first started

so then being a good guy i said i help you a lot more if you want and we could make the server 10x better and what happens ? i start geting crap for it

thats why i cba bon its not crying

i just dont have time for this ... daydie will get the files back asap like i said, its not staying on my dedi any more
