We have something like 145,000 troops in there, if I'm not mistaken the UK is contributing 8,000, which is an outdated number and probably less.

You've taken heavy critism at home too. Almost every area of political concern comes under heavy fire now. It not just the world that hate the Bush Admin, its a good percentage of your own people. Lucky they do too, because without them the rest of the world really would hate everythign about you. I believe they are there because the member states [that are not G8 members] on their own are not considered 'developed' enough, or whose GDP isn't that particulary brilliant. However when grouped as a larger block, fit in just fine. Its much fairer this way.

Vietnam had serveral problems.

One was the president, he couldn't make up his mind and the military suffered greatly because of that.

Second was intelligence, we weren't aware of the advanced tunnel systems and how to deal with guerilla warfare.

Third was the SK people, they didn't unite and help.

Now it's my turn to ask a question. What went wrong in the 1770's when your great navy and arm was defeated by a rag tag army with no training?

No, I'm not too keen on the UN because the Americans seem so keep to buy their way through it. However, their intentions are good, which is more than can be said for Americas. Hey look, intentions, oil and America on the same page. All we need now is 'Bush Family' and we have the entire circle.
