Gems even in euro had a decent chance to fail, it's easier to upgrade equipment than it is to find an added stat item, I think the success rate is fine and Harry's explanation is spot on (enjoyed the poker stars reference) some of you may not have gambled before and don't understand the logic of chance, a bandit is 79% payout but you can put £50 in and not get anything out, you'd be damn unlucky but it happens, i do however think the +3 cap should be reviewed to maybe +5 obviously with harder chance of success this would make gems more valuable again as people with +3 gear will start gemming and breaking again making them buy more gems and increasing sc/mc/Dc gem value / prices
