GG Cash Shop becoming P2W?

Just concerned that the in game cash shop is starting to become P2W.


We already have EXP potions +30% EXP for an hour for a massive £3 (out of reach for casual gamers, totally fits the P2W crowd)

Then we had a firesale and had +40% EXP potions that last an hour for £1 but only to those who had already subbed and with the server being down no one else could sub.

We've got mounts and mount items that give bonus stats at massive prices (up to £18) which again is catering more to the P2W gamer.

Now we have a special saddle that allows you to mount in dungeons, further yet giving additional benefit to those who are willing to subscribe insane amounts of money.


What next?


Really considering jumping ship if this continues.

I would be all over a standard Mir 2, low rate, cosmetic only GG store like melted chocolate on a marshmallow. Never see it happen though at least not one thats going to get enough hype to make it a success.

I think this post is silly. But i cant stop people being silly. What i can do is coirrect poor information.

We added nothing that you have asuggested to the gameshop

We added a Gender scroll
a Global shout
a Skill leveling medal
a Pk reduce points.

The rest was all in-game prior to this.

I do feel let down by the Gameshop, definatley pay to win, gives a huge advantage with those willing to spend big money.

I don't understand why they have decided to go down this path.. They would have a happier community with affordable buffs for all and probably more profit too.

One player doing 20 hours of levelling a month at 40% would cover the cost of the server lol.

Its simple do a subscriber fee, then gg items dont affect ingame like cosmetics etc.

Just FYI, the Mount Items that the mount wear only give you stats whilst on your mount. The actual mount stats, give you stats. I think personally the 35 mounts all need a nerf, before anyone even reaches 35.

Honestly, I've seen no issue with prices. Providing that "flash sale" for the 40% pots comes back for everyone else to use, of course. I suspect this is the route they'll go down. Mass-reductions of things for a short period so that people can buy them. A 40% GG pot isn't worth £4, so I wont buy one. If a whale wants to go ham and spend like mad, let them. They were going to do it irregardless of price, hence the term whale.
