Great event tbh. Shame it didn't drop better over all as stated by the many. drops were hit and miss and most players that didn't have the time to invest in it as much got nowt back but new players seemed to get 36/40weps etc. Luck of the draw I guess.
Looking forward to a Xmas event something similar Xmas trees/turkeys this time tho instead of putting in crap to spawn the boss maybe better to have it spawn every X hours or something so it actually gets killed.

Instances those should be added into game permanently tbh. I liked the idea of going into a cave that you got to yourself no PK for X amount of time you could sacrifice Exp and just run to KR or you could clear the floors and sacarafice the boss dependant on what you wanted to do.
One thing I would say tho is you should add one in that you have to clear all the mobs in all the floors before the boss spawns. Not a timed cave tho you got aslong as it takes but you can only do it once every 24hrs That initially forces players into getting % they wouldnt normally but gives them a reward at the end. Gives a good guild hunt too to lvl up and boss in Just my opinion.

instances get farmed by bots for gold and levelling. Hard to keep track of and can ruin a server. Plus PK element is what mirs about.

Good event guys, you're never going to please everyone but im sure you are well aware of that by now. Casuals want drops the no lifers get, no lifers dont want casuals to catch up to easily, swings and roundabouts.
Im a casual, still didnt hit 40 went from about 27-37 in the event, which im happy with, got some little items to help boost my gold to keep hunting. (no 36 + weps or anything amazing)
Any event shouldn't last longer than 1 week in my opinion. I only play few times at night during the week and even I got bored at times because it was so heavy on the solo play.
If there is an xmas event, i think something similar is OK but but more emphasis on making group play (xmas is for family, being with people after all) or something, like the souls - nobody bothered because had just as much chance of getting something nicer, more easily from pumps/skulls. Maybe something that rewards those who put in the souls, will get a reward regardless of showing up to kill, then those that kill/hit get just more benes or something not too damaging to game.

Personally I am against keeping any instance stuff really, after watching it destroy chronicles (and originally voting for it) its fun at first but then quickly ruins the aspect of mir and any real cave hunting. This idea above is the only thing I would possibly agree to, but much more than a 24 hour cool down, casuals like me would just disappear in these each night we come on, would have to be a weekly thing, no time limit in cave, several floors, rammed, kill every mob to activate boss at end - but must have x amount in group to either go in cave or just kill boss to help promote group hunting and reduce someone just milking boss at end solo. This being a weekly thing would help a big fun, organised guild hunt each week without destroying the main function of mir and using all these caves that are already here, left unexplored.

Im hoping the drop system GM's mentioned will include random mob dropping rare stuff because as already mentioned, too easy for big guilds with no lifers to farm top end bosses. (That being said, should rarely goto a boss and get nothing, even if just a half decent brace/gem + bene)

The only way I would agree with an instance is if it was 1 cave that could only be entered once a day and it HAS to be timed to ensure no bots are placed there for farming.

Once a day is still too much though. Maybe like what ive mentioned in my above post... weekly with 3 hour timer or something decent enough for hunt.

And yes it was crap on chronicles. Never see anyone as everyone done there own thing and there was always talk of ppl cheat gold botting.

Agreed, avoid instances at all costs. I am fine with event instances being only for events, but having them as a part of the game ruins the game.

At worst, I wouldn't mind a once a week instance, but each instance would need to be tailored to each class. You should have the option of levelling there for decent alone-time exp, or prioritising the boss - which should be soloable.

The only type of instance id ever consider is like a Weekly raid (WoW style) bosses being VERY difficult, but no limit on how many times you try each week. Once you clear, you clear.

This would incorporate an amazing system that WoW have, the only issue is, as people have said, is that it would detach players from the main world.

This is a issue that no one seems to care about, not everyone plays 24/7 or has ppl to hunt with or trust in-game with drops. Not lucky enough to be in a TOP guild so have to hunt solo then when they do get to the boss they just get pked constantly via a whole guild. Nothing for the casual solo player all you get told is *pk is part of the game* so is enjoying it buy solo plays can't enjoy it when jumped by 5+ ppl. Before anyone to thinks I'm complaint about pking I'm not at all... Just wish players would accept the fact there are a considerable amount of ppl who don't enjoy pk and they would like to be able to enjoy the game/boss too. A weekly instance would kill two birds with 1 stone for some casuals that enjoy just that...

Yeah exactly what I was thinking, but i think once a week would be enough to keep people happy and long enough that you wouldn't really feel it in open world. (Could also give X Guild a chance to go for a certain boss if they know Y Guild are in their weekly raid) You';d just need to bullet proof it in terms of exploiting, like 1 raid per account not character etc.
