i'm currently playing Mir Labyrinth 1.9 i d/l'd fine etc but when i come 2 try and equip items on to my character they don't drop into the slot.

any1 got any ideas why this might be or how 2 fix it?

also i've re-d/l'd the client and i cba doing it a 3rd time!

Best option is to ask on the Labyrinth forum (if they have one) or the ad section where there server is.

But am guesing you need a patch.

don't see how this is your problem if you're using a fresh client...have you asked GM's?

What Item is it and are other people wearing it? Like Tai says it could be their client.

Or it could also be the owner has done the DB wrong

Just download euro client, then patch it up with there patch.

If that don't work then i have no idea.

Cant use the euro client really since the 1.9 clients are a lot different.

Euro have a only 1.9 full client for download , all ud need to do is get that and then patch it with labyrinth client,

saying that tho i have a labyrinth client straight from the download site and i can go ingame and equip anything. so tbh i havent a clue as to what ur problem is

Senture has a 1.9 client hosted on his space im sure of it. However you say other players are not experiencing this problem. Maybe your client corrupted whilst downloading. Use a download manager for big files / clients.

excuse me I have tried to help with this in many ways. Considering no other player has had any problem at all this is a very confusing problem. If you downloaded it from Lone's link i would suggest getting it from sentures link as no1 else has had any problems at all, Lone's files could have corrupted when he uploaded as he only put this link up a few days ago.

i have trun out of ideas and am stuck at a dead end now the only thing i can think of is maybe something to do with your computer. If you ever get the chance try on a different PC. I would be more worried about this problem for other people but no one else has ever had this problem. I hope you find a way to resolve it i will continue looking into it as much as i can.

It can't be his computer stopping items being equipped. That doesn't make sense. Incompatible wils maybe or the wrong mir.exe that still runs.

WhiteTiger, can you equip original items like the wooden sword, copper rings, iron bracer etc ? What about light armour and bronze helmet ?

Just a thought are you double clicking items in your bag and hoping that they will equip because if you are then im terribly sorry 1.9 doesnt have that luxury so try picing an item up and dropping it into the item slot on the f10 screen.

Daft questions but I must ask...

Do the items "jump" back into the bag when you try and equip ?
Do the items just stay on the end of the mouse pointer ?
Are you trying to equip by double clicking the items in the bag and expect them to move to your char ? This doesn't work on older clients and on some, requires the char view window to be open to work.
Are the items equipping but you can't see them because you don't have the right .wil file ?
I know these are noob questions but I always remember that big corporation in America that called out an engineer to sort their computer problems. He drove miles out of hours to get there and found that the system had shut down because a cleaner had used the mains socket for her hoover and simply pulled the plug on the system !

while you were on the phone was it to the big boss explaining why your cleaner was using the mains rather than the cleaner ring main in the floor .
