Still zero GM input, looks like Archers have been abandoned :(

Jesus servers been up and they've had many buffs and nerfs since then, what do you expect? Dev's to drop the other 4 classes and make Archers perfect. Jesus lol

You just literally cut the comment in half and made a sentence that changed the meaning, the map reports where from hunters unhappy about not being able to shoot through trees. When you do things like this, you prove to either not read my responses, or ignore them, meaning its hard for me to take your feedback as a constructive one or just someone who wants his class to be better?

From experimenting with hunters i find them one of, if not the strongest class in the game.

Considerations:
  1. Dont try and shoot through things.
  2. Despite the fact Hunters dont kill as fast as a melee, they can surly kill most classes in 1v1 pvp.
  3. Hunters have a pet that can hit as hard as its spells.
  4. At this level you dont have your best spells.

You can't expect constructive feedback when you just ignore it, or go on the defensive the second someone provides it, its like you've started to take all the negativity personally recently.

Your comment reads the same either way, that Archers are unhappy about how the class works, and that's apparently ok. You've further evidenced this by totally ignoring my question, but judging by the lack of an answer provided to "are quality of life changes(not necessarily buffs) coming for hunters?"

Constructive Feedback

Pets are too slow, they provide little benefit in pvp or pve, they are slow to react on focus target setting and just piss off on their own on attack mode.

"Tank pet" is a tank in hp only, it doesnt taunt any better than any other pet, the spell it casts just slows it down and mobs leave it the second you tickle them.

Healer pet heals for about 20-30hp every 10secs or so.

AOE Pet, dosnt AOE enough, its dead before it gets more than 1 cast off vs a pack of mobs.

Slowing pet is too slow to have any use at all, it never gets near players and when its does its proc rates so low it is utterly pointless.

Single Target DPS pet is the only pet worth using (it does not do the same as my spells as you stated, i've never seen my pet even at fully level hit for over 75).

Flame Torpedo's variance is awful, it does lower dps on a single target than just bouncing electric shot off a pet. Hitting 200 every now and then is totally ruined by it being able to hit for single figures. It would work a lot better and be more balanced in pve and pvp (Lower its top end damage but dramatically increase the average damage so it actually works as our best single target dps spell rather than electric shotting off pets.

But still, I could live with any of these issues just for the simple QOL change of making Trick Shot baseline, i'm beyond fed up of random bits of scenery being in the general vicinity of my target being in the way. It is an issue constantly, its frustrating and annoying. Especially when you can blatantly see your target in direct LOS, it seems like such a pointless thing to have to constantly switch attack modes because of the issues that exist with targeting in Mir.

Thank you.

I agree with pets, we are in the middle of making lots of changes to pets. With regards to me being defensive (translated - frustrated) because i made a post with pure feedback to your concern regarding trickshot, i even took the time to try and make a video to give you some reassurance that this is still viable, and your reply was by taking my post and editing it to say something different. This is time i dont have to waste.

Flaming missile is set to the same randomizer TDB/DS/FD spells are, so its fair for all classes, sometimes you'll hit a low, sometimes you'll hit a high, sometimes you'll hit 2 lows, sometimes you'll hit 2 highs. Its random.

With regards to trick shot. It will stay as its intended, if we remove this, there needs to be consideration to how strong this is with blocking mobs/players behind walls, this means we will have to lower spell damage for hunters which we dont want to do.

Someone has just messaged me regarding the maps. and we are looking into code changes that make it so you dont need to use trickshot over small bits of terrain. This will massively improve the quality of life for a Hunter.

I get that but like he said, he doesnt want hunter to be a dead class and neither do we! Its a hard one, but i do know that hunters are very good later game. I just think they are a bit stale right now. We are working on making them more fun, with a better rotation early game, but its not quick

I make hunter to lvl 33 with tons of struggle.. then I created a warrior and found life was so beautiful . lvlng hunter for 1hr seriously drain ur energy to play. constant running around, jumping back, targeting 2 mobs, aiming high ground pots.....
But as warrior I can hold my smoke in 1 hand and play with other one.
